On a normal day a moderate rainstorm like this one wouldnt cause much of an impact because the ground is like this dry sponge. When you pour water on it, the sponge absorbs the water. But because of all the recent storms, the ground is like a wet sponge. Add water, and it just doesnt absorb very much. Thats whats causing runoff and the minor flooding on roads and creeks. Take a look at the normally docile los gatos creek. Its now turning into the mississippi they have opened the floodgates at the reservoir. Even the trails are flooded. We come down here and walk sometimes. It looks like today we would have to swim. When it rains, people want it to stop. When it doesnt come, people want it to rain. Make up your mind. Those kinds of actions in our communities separate us, divide us and create fear and hostility towards Police Officers and they do not support that kind of action at all. Money for Alameda Countys Legal Defense fund is coming from the San Francisco foundation. In livermore, a significant cleanup in store after a fire went through a religious center. The blaze broke out around 8 00 at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship on North Livermore avenue. Four classes were burned and two employees were able to rush out. But one tried to crush the flames with a fire extinguisher. The man is now recovering from minor burns. As you can see from the damage, they found heavy fire coming out of the front windows. They pressed into the building with interior fire attacks taking hose lines inside and fought fire and realized that the fire had spread to about 4 rooms inside the building. Investigators are now trying to figure out what sparked the fire. Berkeley police are looking for three men who robbed customers inside a cafe. It happened at the espresso roma on College Avenue sunday night. Police say the suspects grabbed a few laptops but the customers fought back. The Randall Museum located on a hill above the castro is relying on money on the state for repairs but the sfpuc pancreatic cancer says sfpuc says the process is behind schedule. They were combining all of this with all sorts of other information about you, household income, sex, marital status, a really invasive picture was being put together. But to secretly sell the information without your knowledge allowing advertisers to target you across all your devices . Thats a violation and why vizio has to pay more than 2 million in fines.
