There were Security Guard and cameras but the suspects got away. No one inside the store was hurt. The value of the stolen merchandise is unknown. This was the not the only recent highend retail heist in the bay area. In november, burglars busted through this chanel boutique in union square and got 250,000 in handbags. A Computer Security breach may have compromised the personal data of 80 million people. Hackers stole information from anthem, incorporated, one of the Largest Health Insurance Companies in the nation. More now from don champion. The nations second Largest Health insurer said hackers infiltrated its Computer Network and accessed the personal information of current and former customers. Information stolen included names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, even employment details like income. In all, more than 80 million records were breached. Credit card information was not compromised and so far theres no evidence that medical information was stolen. In a letter posted on the website anthemfacts. Com, the president and ceo wrote, we join you in your concern and frustration and i assure you that we are working around the clock to do everything we can to further secure your data. He also said even his own personal information was accessed. The fbi is now investigating. It comes two weeks after president obama said new legislation is needed to meet this cyber terrorism. The rain is going to begin in the north bay and spread to the south over the entire bay area. Then over the weekend sunday will be wetter than saturday. Heres friday morning. We are beginning to see wet conditions in throughout the metropolitan area of San Francisco so that speeds up and through friday its going to be heavy rain all day and gusty winds. Saturday, its really hit and miss scattered showers. Those showers begin to intensify as the day goes on late day and then sun, a second wave of activity moves into the bay area with heavier rainfall. The coastal areas will be buffeted with winds in excess of 60 Miles Per Hour. Then generally speaking across the metropolitan area, were talking about 2 to 3 inches of rain, 6 to 7 perhaps 8 of rain expected in throughout the santa cruz mountains. Milpitas Police Officers are trying to find out what happened before a deadly crash yesterday morning. Police say the driver of a cadillac was tboned by a garbage truck. The force of the impact sheared off the trunk and a tire but the cadillac kept going. The car scraped the ground for half a mile before stopping and catching fire. The driver was found outside the car where she was pronounced dead. Thieves breaking into cars down at sunnyvale in hopes of getting some pricy hightech gear. Police say there were five car breakins at a costco parking lot on monday night and all the victims say they left laptops or other electronics visible inside their cars. A jury convicted a San Francisco man of running an underground website that served drug dealers and other illegal activities.
