The baby was pronounced dead at the scene. Newton was treated for a self inflicted cut. Police arrested her and found what they believe a murder weapon, a pocket knife. No motive but believe she may have suffered from depression. Witnesses say newton was repeatedly crashing her car into a rock and the stabbing likely happened after the crash.
