When you bring broccoli home, you want to make sure you store it in the refrigerator. When it comes to cooking it, you can eat it raw but if you want to dull down the flavor a little because its pretty strong, blanche it, very quickly, for just a few minutes. If you want to steam your broccoli optimal time is 7 minutes. That way you get the steaming quality but you hold on to it nutritional value which is very high. And to add some acidity squeeze lemon on it. Im Stephanie Tantillo with your tip of the day. New at noon park rangers at yosemite are going hightech to track some black bears. Heres what some hr managers say are the most common mistakes candidates make and how to fix them. Amazon has over 550 jobs in the bay area. Amazons head of hiring says that candidates often try to please interviewers by saying they will do anything or they are open to trying. But thats often the wrong thing to say. Employers need assurance that you can do a particular job. Successful candidates make it clear that the job theyre interviewing for is a perfect one and the best match for their skills. One hr manager does a great deal of hiring in San Francisco told me that preparing for an interview, candidates should practice out loud saying three specific examples of their experience that align to the open job. At San Franciscobased kimpton hotels, a growing hotel chain that has openings at 11 Different Properties in the bay area, their head of hr says its often about personality, more than experience. Candidates who are creative and demonstrate a passion for the employers business are more likely to be told, you got the job. Thats a good approach for any job you seek. We wanted to put a stop to that rather than just have a network thats built up on basically the ideas of other people. We put a lot of time and effort into these videos. So its nice to actually get a little compensation for the work that we do. It says some people have made as much as 10,000 since the site launched two years ago. They are busy.
