The Charles Ramsey says tenure laws leave School Districts without options. He says his district has spent millions fighting to remove failing teachers. We have to have that flexibility. Even with todays ruling, legal analyst says it isnt dead in california. She said state lawmakers could spend more time evaluating teachers before they make a decision. It would take a few minutes r. Two people have been arrested in that case. Police say they arrested two men in connection with this shooting on 83rd and g street. A 2yearold was injured but is expected to survive. The police chief is calling on the community to make the street safer. Oakland has been known for its activism. There is no cause more important than the safety and welfare of our children. So i call on people to report illegal gun possession. The impacts of gun violence on this community is far too staggering. At least four children have died in had hads in oakland this year.
