The boy was riding his bicycle ahead of several family members into the crosswalk. The driver seen here in the orange shirt was turning left and accidentally hit the child. The vehicle continued a short way and realized they may have struck something, made a u turn and discovered they had struck this child. The child was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Investigators were combing the scene for several hours. One carried the red bike the boy was riding in and put it in the trunk of his car as evidence. All that water pushed up on the beach from waves has to go back. But no beach is straight or level and the water finds these depressions and flows backwards through the surf like you see here moving right to left back out to sea. Rip currents can be tricky. Her resignation comes just over a week after signups closed for the first year of Insurance Coverage under the socalled obamacare law. Sebelius has been under fire for problems at healthcare. A judge ruled california is mistreating its mentally ill inmates, specifically using pepper spray excessively on them and keeping them in isolation units. A former city administrator in Los Angeles County got an earful from a judge today and a lengthy sentence for her role in a Corruption Scandal.
