Police blocked off the scene outside johnny vs on santa clara street earlier this morning. Investigators say the suspect was bothering customers then stabbed the offduty bouncer outside the bar. At some point down the line there were some witnesses there who point out a potential suspect or possible suspect in the stabbing. Officers made contact with that person down the street probably a block away near market street. That person was arrested without incident and brought down here to the San Jose Police department. People who knew the victim left flowers by the scene and say he was a neighborhood hero. The names of the suspect and victim are not being released at this time. A driver with a history of speeding is under arrest for a deadly pedestrian crash in San Francisco. Police say they caught mageb hussein as he tried to walk away from the scene of the crash. The smashed car stopped partly on the sidewalk on van ness avenue in the Pacific Heights neighborhood early this morning. Police say the victim tried to cross the street in the middle of the block.
