It will take several hours to get here and thats good because it will be slow to move out, as well. So a soggy day thursday. Looking at the long term this weekend and beyond once this rainmaker is gone doesnt look good now. If you are looking for more rainfall, the ridge will build farther off to the west. Its not going to be sunny and 75 but it likely will be close enough to take most of the rainfall and bring it up to oregon and washington and British Columbia not much for us. So we should embrace the rain that we are going to get tonight and tomorrow maybe the only stuff we get over the next week. So futurecast, how much rain for you . Our computer is predicting almost half inch of rainfall for concord, walnut creek, hayward, fremont, perhaps a half inch for napa and quarter inch of rainfall in total for San Francisco. So not bad. Its a good place to start. Showers begin tonight. Showers are likely on and off all the way through friday morning with the steadiest rainfall moving in late in the day on thursday. The way carroll did when he was the head coach at usc and manning stopped by for summer workouts. I got over there at 3 00 and i really just wanted to kind of just join right in and, you know, throw whatever routes that southern cal was throwing and coach carroll had 8 receivers 4 tight ends, 4 running backs all stretched ready to go when i got there and i said, what routes do yall want to run . He said no, coach said we are going to throw whatever routes you want to run. This is your workout. I have never thats about as good a treatment as you can get.
