The report also found blacks are six times more likely than whites to be subjected to use of force by a police officer. Now, Council Members are behind a push to change policy. They want review of reforms and talk about the steps that could be taken to reform the Police Department but the police chief says its inaccurate and doesnt show the whole picture. Crews battling this Massive Wildfire in Mariposa County point to a new concern now that could make the fight against the flames even tougher for firefighters. The Detwiler Fire is spreading fast outside Yosemite National park. Its burned 79,000 acres already, and its 60 contained. But now crews say that theres a possibility of dry lightning which might spur additional fires. They say that it might be another two weeks before the wildfire is completely surrounded. Near wheatland thats north of sacramento, 2 homes are burned to ash, 3 other buildings damaged in the fire. This is in yuba county. Its called the spenceville fire. It started at 3 p. M. Yesterday and burned 39 acres. A woman who lived with her 89 yearold grandmother says all they are things were destroyed. The ashes of her daughter and husband were in the house and its gone and her entire life is gone. Cal fire reported that fire was fully contained at around 6 p. M. He cause is under investigation. Today the Berkeley City Council will meet to discuss Police Reform as the Department Faces new criticism because of a report on police stops. Jessica flores has more from berkeley. A report a couple weeks ago. The deadly crash happened on interstate 680 in san ramon. Prosecutors say malihan was on drugs when the suv hit another car and the child was killed.
