The 10 to 12 baby great whites seen off the coast here in long beach are about 5 to 6 feet long, the same size as he black tip sharks. Theyre actually a sign the ocean is healthy. I think dangerous is not a word you should use with these sharks. Theyre not really dangerous. If you leave them alone, theyll leave you alone. Reporter baiter says the sharks are here to eat and are only interested in fish, stingrays and other sharks. The Marine Safety Division has been keeping a close eye on the water.
