Reporter she is a hall of famer for her contribution in the sacred heart cathedrals Athletic Office but sister francis is barely 49. I really wanted to be a nurse at one time but they told me i was too short. Reporter the 81yearold has been a lifetime of service to the church. And to irish athletics for 3 decades. When i was an Elementary School principal when we had basketball games and there was nobody to run the clock, i started doing that, too. So reporter she retired from teaching math choosing instead to work in the office and then the scorers table in the evening. Oh, boy. Reporter at her age, she still puts in 14 hours a day. Best laid plans of mice and men. Oh, you were wide open. Reporter combined with volleyball and football, she estimates she worked over 1,000 irish games. Thats a lot of winning and losing. Reporter but that doesnt mean the sister isnt above some pointed words herself. Or at least a stern look. Yeah. That was a foul. I have also had some words with referees who have reprimanded me for some things that because of my facial reactions. I get into the game sometimes. Reporter on this day the Freshman Team got beat in overtime by valley christian. The finish . A bit of a hail mary. Valley christian will get them next year, right . I hope so. She has been there for a long time. I still dont understand the theory of her being 49. And not being a nurse. Because you have to lift the patients. Maybe she is small. That could be. Please dont question sister francis. Sit down, young man. Do not question her. We need a department to clean up the salty language. How many years have you got . Easy, big guy.
