That low, that pesky little low off baja finally gets kicked inland as it gets caught up in the southwesterly spinning under that other low thats north of hawaii and as it gets kicked closer to the shoreline, we begin to pick up this. High clouds tomorrow morning. Tomorrow looks nice. Not quite as warm as today. Look what happens on saturday. In the early going on saturday we increase clouds. Not a big rainmaker. Just could be a few scattered sprinkles especially over the coast ranges but nevertheless, sort of a leaden overcast start to new years eve. The rest of the day northerlies push the clouds out of the bay area so that by fireworks time, saturday night, we should be in the clear. So it will be partly cloudy and chilly tonight not as warm. Well, not as mild for friday because numbers are coming down. Well get a rain chance on saturday in the early going and clear it off late in the day. For tomorrow, the numbers are pretty close to average in fact dead on cue for San Francisco. 56 degrees right where we should be the last week of december. Concord at 59. San jose continues warmer than average at 62. Oakland will be at 59 degrees tomorrow. A few high clouds in the early going and then increasing sunshine as the day wears on. And so for new years eve, eve, in santa clara, 61 degrees. San jose 62. Los gatos 63 degrees tomorrow. Very nice in the east bay, as well. Numbers mostly in the upper 50s and low 60s with plenty of sunshine. Including the north bay tomorrow. 58 degrees for santa rosa. 57 for petaluma and kentfield. In San Francisco, 56 degrees. And then for ukiah and lakeport the numbers will be in the 50s. And pleasant day for cloverdale and windsor with numbers near 60. Extended forecast is where we pick that up chance of a few showers early saturday morning. Sunday will live up to its name the first day of 2017 comes in with sun but it will be followed shortly by rain on monday and tuesday. Showers and cool monday and tuesday.
