Reporter the sheriff says papini was released on a rural road around 4 30 thanksgiving morning and went to a nearby church. When she couldnt find anyone she flagged down a driver on the freeway near county road 17 north of woodland. The sheriff says when the motorist found her she was bound with restraints. He would not provide details on the extent of her injuries. But the sheriff tells us he has brought in all his detectives who were off for the holiday to work on finding those responsible. He says his detectives have spoken to papini but are giving her time to deal with the experience. The investigation will now take a new phase into working on looking at is there any Surveillance Video in the area where she was recovered, is there any technological data like cell phone information where she was recovered that we can use . Firefighte flames raged at the top of a home in san mateo early this morning. Firefighters found a 70year old woman dead inside. The fire started at 4 30 a. M. On oak street and now investigators believe the fire is suspicion. They are trying to figure the cause and where it started. But they dont think it was an accident. This is not the first deadly incident at that house. Back in 2011, police got into an armed standoff with a man who lived there. He died in a shootout at a Shopping Center later. Jessica. Reporter officer robby chon was responding to a disturbance and that quickly escalated into a foot chase and behind me is where officer chon had the major head blow. South San Francisco Police Officer robby chon is fighting for his life after the suspect knocked him unconscious with his skateboard. Surveillance cameras captured the chaos. The suspect goes down grand avenue with a Police Cruiser behind him. Then you can see officer chon on foot chasing the suspects. Then watch carefully. Within seconds the suspect strikes officer chon in the head with the skateboard critically injuring the officer. Police arrested the suspect identified as 28yearold luis alberto ramoscoreas. The attack is not acceptable. The men and women of the south San Francisco Police Department who will remain vigilant in our effort to keep our officers and our community safe. Reporter officer chon is a 12year veteran with the south San Francisco Police Department. He is married and he has two young children. Reporter the attack happened just down the street from a store. A gunman is on the loose after a deadly shooting in San Franciscos western addition. Police were called about gunshots near turk and pierce streets about 11 a. M. One person died. Two others are in the hospital. One is being treated for life threatening injuries. Police think the suspect is a man between 40 and 50. Police in reno are searching for the shooter they believe killed a driver over a parking spot. It happened at a parking lot near this walmart on thanksgiving as shoppers were headed into the store for black friday deals. Witnesses say both drivers were armed.
