Well, now theres a move to close the socalled bullet button loop hope. San francisco Assembly Member david chiu announcing legislation to broaden the classification for restricted firearms. Essentially it closed a loophole that enables people to use a bullet or other pointed object to swap out a weapons ammunition magazine. Something the law says youre not suppose to be able to do. We all know that the most deadly aspect of an assault weapon is the ease of detaching the magazine and then rapidly reloading. A rifle with this capacity enables the shooter with vastly enhanced killing ability. Attorney general Kamala Harris is backing this legislation. She says the state must do everything it can to keep high capacity firearms off our streets. Santa clara police are hoping someone will recognize robbed a woman at a park. But then we get another break before another round of rainfall moves through on sunday. So we are coming up with some high numbers here just counting the storms in january. Number 7 today. Early in the weekend number 8. Its late in the weekend back here where storm 9 gets into fruition and here we go see now that the moisture stretches down closer toward hawaii. We are tapping into some of the subtropical moisture. Thats critical because we want to pull more moisture into each storm because hopefully that will yield more rainfall. It will through the weekend and the beginning of next week with monday being the wettest day by the time that storm moves through, storm number 9, these are your rainfall totals. Walnut creek concord Martinez Oakland up to 2. 5 of rain for you. And the north bay, you typically do get the most rainfall. You will in this case 3 to 6 inches of rainfall by monday night and Tuesday Morning so we have showers tonight we get a dry break for most of tomorrow. And some rain moves in off and on this weekend.
