Most commonly what we see, they are just the popups that take advantage of the notoriety of the big name ones. Reporter he says its relatively easy for a popup to temporarily lock your computer in hopes of scaring you into paying up or, works, handing over access or, worse, handing over access to your machine. Several berkeley streets had to be shut down, firefighters were battling this house fire on claremont boulevard this afternoon. It caused major damage to the second floor and attic. A power line also came down. Firefighters say a Coffee Roaster may have led to this twoalarm fire at a condo in mountain view. The tenant says he was roasting coffee in his garage when the roaster caught fire. The flames spread upstairs causing the roof to collapse. But crews did stop it from reaching the adjoining units. And in san jose, an abandoned Dentist Office went up in flames this morning. Firefighters evacuated two nearby structures. Witnesses say they saw Homeless People running away from that building before the firefighters showed up. A newark teenager lost part of his hand thanks to illegal fireworks. Police say he was setting off a mortar round like this one last night when it blew up in his left hand officers with the Fireworks Task force were in the area and saw a crowd gathering around the young man. Several families were out celebrating when it happened. I was pretty sure that the fuse was already lit and it became really small to where he tried to light it in his hand and throw it simultaneously. But it blew up too close. Police applied a tourniquette to the mans hand, had him taken to the hospital. He does face some critical injuries. But he is expected to survive. Only the safe and sane fireworks are allowed in newark, but even though this was an illegal one, police say they are not going to issue a citation. So the wearables have a potential to engage someone like a teenager or a child to where they can understand that theres a link between how much sunscreen they put on, how much time they stay outside and the sun exposure that they get.
