Inside the suv was a mother and her three kids. Chp investigators say the force of the collision ejected a fiveyearold boy and a tenyearold boy, killing them. The 35yearold mother and a threemonthold baby strapped in a car seat suffered from major rirlys. Injuries. You could be doing everything right and some idiot comes down the street not doing everything right and way outside of bounds and they change your life forever. Say it was just bad luck for the family, wrong place wrong time. They say it happened around 11 00 last night. The driver of the infinity was getting off of highway 4 in concord, and the family in the suv was getting on to the freeway. They say the infinity was going way too fast, couldnt make the turn, slammed into the suv, and the infinity went flying into the kinders parking lot. A number of witnesses inside the restaurant came out and saw the infinity driver run away. Described him as bloody from the face from possible lacerations or injuries from the collision itself and then stumbling upon getting out of the vehicle but immediately fleeing once he exits his infinity, and that direction was behind us over highway 4. Police officers arrested the suspect this afternoon. They identified him as 35yearold wilson jr. An actual coward. I mean, live up to your mistakes. The suspect has a lengthy rap sheet. He is now facing a number of charges related to this accident. As for the victim, well, they live in san pablo. We dont have the latest conditions on the mother and the baby. An officer tried to make a traffic stop around 4 00 this morning on mission street, but the driver sped down Mission Going so fast that the officer gave up the chase. Soon after, police found the car wrecked on the 7400 block of mission. Police say the driver may have hit a large median. That man died at the scene. So far, he has not been publicly identified. Police are investigating a mass shooting in little rock, arkansas. They say at least 25 people were shot and injured this morning during a concert at a nightclub. The youngest victim just 16 years old. Wendy gillette has the details. [ gunshots ] the barrage of gunfire was broadcast on Facebook Live from inside a nightclub in little rock, arkansas. Panicked clubgoers ran for their lives to get away from the chaos while dodging bullets. Cruz williams hid underneath a pool table. Lay in wait. It went on for about ten minutes. Police believe several people got into an argument and gunfire was exchanged, injuring dozens. A lot of the individuals were injured, either being trampled or trying to exit the location. Broken glass from the second floor of the club littered the ground below. Police also shut down several streets in the area to search for suspects, but no arrests were made. Investigators were back at the crime scene collecting evidence saturday. Officials say crime is getting worse in little rock. There have been a dozen driveby shootings in nine days. We know that weve got to use a hammer. Weve got to use a big hammer on the people who would do violence with guns and hurt people. Offduty police were actually working at the concert, but they had left the nightclub before the shooting broke out. We now know the identity of the woman killed in the shooting rampage at a hospital in new york city. Dr. Tracy tam was 32, had worked at bronx lebanon hospital for nearly a year. The gunman doctor, henry bello, had been forced to resign two years ago because of Sexual Harassment allegations. He shot seven people yesterday and then took his own life. Nypd provided this picture of the weapon he used, an am 15 assault rifle. The gunman went onto his former department on the 16th floor with the gun tucked under a white lab coat. About two hours before the shooting, he sent an email to the new york daly news saying the hospital had ruaned his career. The individual resigned. He started here in august of 2014, and in february, 2015, he resigned. Detectives want to know what led bello to snap more than two years after he quit one of the six people wounded is still in critical condition. The others are now listed as stable. President trump is criticizing states for not providing information to his voter fraud investigators. The minimum wage in San Francisco is going up from 13 to 14 an hour, making it one of the highest in the country. Next year, the citys minimum wage will go up to 15 an hour and then each year after that, it will go up based on inflation. The mayor says the new wage is still not enough. We have to do other things. We have to build more affordable housing, and we have to develop programs that make mass transit more affordable. And in san jose today, the minimum wage won up to 12 an hour. Thats 1. 50 more than before. Starting today, the city of San Francisco has to take care of thousands of trees on public sidewalks. This comes after years of confusion about whether Property Owners or the city are responsible for the trees, then last november, voters passed ballot measure that sets aside 19 million a year.
