School in San Francisco is on high alert after vandals painted an islamic symbol on campus. Its a Crescent Moon and star. Kpix 5s emily turner is at the school, where teachers and parents understandably are on edge. Emily, explain what that symbol means. Reporter first things first. Its not isis related which when everyone here found that out they breathed a sigh of relief. Everyone is on alert because of everything thats happened. They are on edge. So police just within the last hour have been here. They are making sure everything is safe. But parents are still worried. Four days after terrorist attacks in paris the International High school in San Francisco had a scare of its own. Maintenance crews discovered this graffiti on the inside walls of the playground and on the ground. I used to live in paris. And we are horrified by what happened. So i dont understand that someone did that. I cant imagine that. Reporter this symbol police say represents the 5 nation, an offshoot of the nation of islam. Parents were on edge and the school immediately called police. Sfpd brought in the fbi to discover who did it and why. Well coordinate with them to determine whether or not it is a threat, which at this point it does not appear to be other than just the vandalism that occurred. Reporter already, School Officials say they have stepped up security in the wake of the paris attacks. But the vandals had to scale a large fence and get by security cameras to do their damage. Police are now reviewing the foage. Why would they choose this school . You know, at this point, i dont know why they chose this school. Reporter so threat or not, there are still plenty of questions to be answered that leaves room for parents to worry. Does this concern you that this happened at school . Of course i mean, i really dont understand what happened and its a shame. Its a shame. Reporter the school has since painted over that symbol and they say their priority now is obviously to make sure their students are safe but also to get back to school as usual. Authorities canceled a major soccer game in germany that chancellor merkel was attending. It was all due to a bomb threat. Just minutes before the game announcements were made for people to evacuate and go home. A second stadium where a concert was also being held evacuated. Police and bomb squads searched both stadiums. Nothing was found. [ music ] [ French National anthem ] in london tonight a show of solidarity. Soccer players from the uk and france sharing a moment as the French National anthem was played. The touching pregame ceremony also included a moment of silence for the paris victims. French authorities are hunting for a second fugitive they say was directly involved in fridays attacks. They are already on the hunt for Salah Abdeslam. His brother urging him to turn himself in. In the meantime, french warplanes today attacked another isis stronghold in syria. The eiffel tower closed today for a second time since friday. Employees are concerned about safety. They want people screened before coming into the area where the tower stands. Reporter Erin Mclaughlin has the latest on the manhunt for suspects. Reporter veronica, tonight were hearing of another terror plot that may have been foiled this time in hanover, germany. Authorities there canceling a soccer match between germany and the netherlands after police say they received intelligence that someone planned on bombing the stadium. Now, the stadium was successfully evacuated about an hour and a half before the game. This as an International Manhunt intensifies, Authorities Say they are now on the lookout for not one suspect but two. Salah abdeslam and someone else. The hunt is on for 26yearold Salah Abdeslam, one of the suspected terrorists in fridays attack in paris. His brother ibrahim blew himself up during the attacks that left 129 dead. Their family tells cnn they had no idea the two had become radicalized. [ nonenglish language ] but my brother, who has participated in this terrorist attack, was probably psychologically ready to commit such an act. Reporter the worldwide search for Salah Abdeslam continues as Coalition Fighters intensify air strikes against isis in syria and iraq. French president Francois Hollande tells the world france wont back down. In short of weakening the french passion for receiving the whole world, i have already lost that fight. Reporter russia is also increasing its military response doubling the number of air strikes in syria. Its part of the stern message putin has for isis after confirming it was a bomb that brought down a russian jetliner over egypt october 31. Isis has taken credit. In the u. S. , a political battle is brewing over president obamas plan to increase the number of refugees allowed in america. The majority of the governors across the country say they dont want them in their state. They are concerned what happened in paris could happen closer to home. That same debate is playing out right here in france. Members of the french far right saying that refugees should no longer be welcome in this country. French president Francois Hollande says refugees are a vital part of europe. Many of them are in desperate need of help. Many are fleeing isis. We know this is a very fluid situation. Things are constantly changing. Is there anything else you can tell us at this hour about the suspects . Reporter we are getting more information about how the suspects potentially communicated prior to the attacks. Intelligence sources saying it has seen some of the attacks they found cell phones and on those cell phones were encrypted apps which could explain why or how the suspects were able to communicate without the knowledge of authorities. Vandals used an excavating to bash through a snack shop and Basketball Court at the Santa Cruz County school. Police believe the vandals snuck on campus late saturday night and that one of them had experience operating an excavator. School administrators say there was more than 30,000 in damage. Not the pair you would expect to be holding up a bank in the bay area but police say these girls got away with the crime because of a creepy threat. O young women may Dublin Police are looking for what could be a pair of teenaged bank robbers. Take a look. These two young women may not even be in their 20s. But their methods are drawing some attention too especially what they told the teller during the heist. Kpix 5s jackie ward explains. Reporter the Quiet Community of dublin is concerned about the recent robbery that took place behind me on dublin boulevard. But they are also sad after learning that two of the suspects are believed to be females in the late teens and early 20s. On monday a woman with a tattoo and another woman entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding cash. But the note also said that they knew where the teller lived and were at the tellers home. Police say no weapons were displayed and the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The San Jose City council may ease the rules for taxi drivers at Mineta San Jose International airport. The move comes a week after the city leaders agreed to lift fingerprint and background checks for most uber and lyft operators. Taxi drivers went on strike for two days last week in protest.
