He is wanted for killing a former Police Captains daughter and her fiance last weekend in irvine and for gunning down a riverside officer early this morning. Three members of a vallejo family were shot when two men broke into their home. It happened early this morning in a north vallejo neighborhood. Police say they got a call at around 3 40 this morning. They arrived to find a woman and two adult gunshot wounds. The family woke up someone forced their way through the front door. The very first person to confront the suspects was a female in her early 20s. She saw these unknown individuals inher home. She retreated into her home and the two suspects chased her into the home and fired a round off at her. Her brother also in his 20s was shot in the face. Their mother was shot in the hip. The suspects described as men wearing hooded sweatshirts, they are still on the loose. Other bay area headlines. San jose firefighters were pretty busy working an Early Morning fire in a vacant house this morning. Fire started around 1 a. M. At dana avenue and mckendry street. The firefighters had it knock down in 20 minutes. Nobody hurt. U. S. Customs Officials Say they intercepted a shipping container last december being used to smuggle ammunition. The container held 2300 rounds along with shotgun shells hiding end in three different cars hidden in three different cars. The container was headed for mongolia. Reporter whether raised on a farm or fished from the wild salmon is a popular and healthy choice. Would you eat salmon created in a lab . Introduce genetically modified salmon created using genes from other fish. This is a crossing a line in a lab. This wouldnt happen naturally. This is crossing different species. Reporter and this is the end result. These fish are all the same age and had the same parents but take a look at the fish on top. Its genetically modified. And much larger. Aqua bounty that created the salmon claims they grow twice as fast. Each has genes from the larger chinook salmon and eellike ocean pout. The fda is expected to approve the fish saying its safe to eat prompting public concern. It probably wouldnt be labeled and so people would have no idea at the store whether they would be getting engineered fish or not. If its gmo, i have a right to know reporter despite countrywide protests, the fda doesnt require labeling for jed cloudy modified crops, approved for more than a decade. So its possible labeling wont be required for the new salmon, either. A huge genetic modification and its scary.
