Newly released documents show more than 100 employees are accused of the misconduct during a threeyear period. Kpix 5s maria medina is live at ucberkeley with details. Reporter good morning, michelle. We are talking 124 cases from 2013 to last year anywhere from professors harassing students to sexual battery. Several news organizations requested these documents after a ucberkeley sex scandal revealed the university allowed many of the 19 employees accused of violating the Sexual Misconduct policy to keep their jobs. Now, that scandal exposed a double standard. University staffers were fired or forced to resign but tenured faculty members faced lighter sanctions or stayed on the payroll. Some of those alleged victims did speak out. So we call on others in this culture to come forward and speak out against a failing system. Reporter now, of those 124 cases, the newly released documents show ucsf had 26 cases of Sexual Misconduct, ucla with that and ucberkeley with 19 and about twothirds of those accused no longer work for uc but its not clear if they were fired.
