Thats right after 238 in san leandro. Now, this should be going on until about 6 a. M. Thats an hour or so. So well see if they stay on schedule. But as of now we are suggesting you go ahead and take 580 instead and avoid it altogether but heres a look at the nimitz freeway live, 238 in san leandro to the maze right now look at that, 35 minutes. So thats very heavy traffic already and its just 5 02. Lets take a look at the Altamont Pass coming off 205 in tracy. At 52 Miles Per Hour, if you head through into north flynn road youre driving at about 35 Miles Per Hour. So this is actually supposed to be our hot spot our usual hot spot but its looking pretty good north tracy boulevard to the Altamont Pass will take you up to 24 minutes. On to the dublin interchange here some slow commuter traffic Altamont Pass to 680 will take you about 14 minutes. Ill send it to you. All right, roqui. Thank you. When traffic gets especially bad on bay area highways many of us think, oh, its worse in l. A. But a new study shows that were living a lie. This is one of the hot spots that made that study highway 101 through sunnyvale and Mountain View, also making the list is highway 237 in milpitas and 280 in downtown san jose. So what makes these so horrible . Well, a new study says that there are megacommuters in this hot spot. Basically, drivers are spending more than 90 minutes in their car one way. Even more surprising in the study is that it says there are more megacommuters in Silicon Valley than in los angeles. I used to live down near the l. A. Area and its just about as bad here as it is down there. Its pretty bad. Between 3 00 and, lets say, 8 00, you cant get anywhere. Reporter all right. According to the study, among the Silicon Valley drivers here, more than 5 are mega commuters. And thats one whole percentage point more than los angeles. So what is the problem . This is off of parking lot m. You can see that the Sonoma CountySheriffs Department has part of this parking lot blocked off and they are expected to be back here to comb this area at 8 a. M. A landscaper made this discovery yesterday afternoon of a partially buried body found in this wooded area. Officers say that given the condition of that body, it seems like somebody who died recently. And today they hope to find out more. Crime scene investigators will come out with our Violent Crimes detectives and they will start slow methodical unearthing and to make sure they dont disturb the crime scene, and collect enough evidence to try and solve what happened. Reporter as to who this might be, no clue at this point. No links to any missing persons in the area. So we dont know how long this area of the parking lot is going to be blocked off. The chronicle reporting that former tenants of the building sued the owner before the fire. They claim that they were driven out by dangerous conditions to make way for the new complex. Later today we expect to learn more about the sinking millennium tower. San franciscos city attorneys holding a News Conference to announce a major legal development. Last week, we found out the buildings owners are facing violations for reportedly making unauthorized repairs. The city inspectors say the work happened without the necessary permits. The owners say they thought the developer got the permits. Since the tower was built 7 years ago, it has sunk 16 inches. In San Francisco, the search for a new police chief is now down to 3 contenders. The chronicle reporting that acting chief Toney Chaplin is one of the finalists. Investigators in iowa say a man who shot and killed two Police Officers has a history of racial provocation and confrontations with police. This is a small quiet campus in rohnert park. They dont city a lot of activity like this. But officers have been on scene here all night. They have part of the parking lot behind me blocked off. They are making sure nobody can come in and disturb this scene before they have the chance to find more clues. Investigators will be back out here at 8 a. M. A landscaper made this discovery yesterday afternoon of a partially buried body found in this wooded area.
