It was proposed to lawmakers after numerous women came forward saying that Entertainer Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them decades ago. The bill has already passed the state senate and assembly. Meanwhile, a trial date for cosby could be set today for a Sexual Assault case in pennsylvania. In this case, cosby is accused of drugging and molesting a woman he mentored at Temple University back in 2004. Cosbys lawyers are also trying to get key evidence tossed out. That evidence is sworn testimony that cosby gave in the accusers civil lawsuit. His attorneys say he only testified after being told he would never face charges. The judge who sentenced brock turner to six months in jail for Sexual Assault is making changes today. He requested to have himself removed from criminal cases after he got backlash for the sentence.
