All lanes of traffic were closed in time for the evening rush hour leaving drivers in both directions stuck. Unless i had an airplane. [ laughter ] so look at all the traffic. Its just ridiculous. Every road is jammed. Reporter several buildings were threatened at one point but the fire is out. The impact is minimal on the commute because this is southbound. San jose police are looking for a gunman in deadly shooting around 9 20 last night. When they arrived they discovered a male victim with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on the motive. In sacramento, a rally by White Supremacists turned bloody fast after counter protestors showed up in the hundreds on sunday. Now a Berkeley Middle School is facing threats because one of its teachers showed up to protest. Jackie ward is live at the school where security is seeing a boosting after an anonymous email. The School District said, Berkeley Police have increased patrols around the property. I have never seen a situation exactly like this. Reporter this is in Santa Clara County a mile of 17 shut down at this point. It will be probably until about 10 a. M. But might open sooner. The fire that you mentioned started when a car caught fire at around 3 p. M. Yesterday. About 200 firefighters tried to control the fire while people live in about 20 homes near at Redwood Estates were forced to evacuate. The backups went on four miles. Theres no good way home. Its a gridlock mess. Reporter as for the fire, about 4 acres burned. It is contained this morning. No injuries. Firefighters will be out checking for hot spots this morning.
