Reporter the sinkhole is still here. This is Mission Street between second and new montgomery. That hole is 12 feet by 5 feet wide. It is 9 feet deep. Repairs are set to begin again this morning at dawn. The hole opened up at 5 30 last night. And the suv partially fell in. There was a family inside. And rescuers say they had to be strategic about how to get them out. People had to stay inside to make sure the weight didnt distribute unevenly where the car would fall further into the hole. Reporter it was a very precarious situation but crews eventually got ropes around the vehicle and pulled it out towed it away. They now have to figure out what caused the sinkhole. A 28yearold man crashed a car at a home in taunton and stabbed two people inside the house. An 80yearold died from her injuries. Then Arthur Darosa allegedly crashed a stolen honda into a macys and stabbed at least two people there before killing a 56yearold at a mall restaurant. An offduty cop then shot and killed darosa. There was a pregnant lady who came out holding her stomach. Then a guy was stabbed in the chest. It appears that but for the actions of the deputy sheriff, there may very well have been other victims. Police are trying to determine a motive for the attacks. Stoned driving is becoming a bigger problem across the country. A new aaa study found that deadly accidents in the state of washington have doubled since marijuana was legalized in 2012. But coming up with a test is going to be more difficult than a breathalyzer test used to detect blood alcohol levels. Biologically, cannabis and alcohol are different.
