They have not released the mans name. Investigators would like to know what happened inside a Santa Clara County jail that left an inmate dead. Michael james tyree found dead in his cell at the main jail last thursday. The mercury news reports there was some kind of confrontation with correctional officers. Three of them are now on leave. The inmate was due to the transferred to a Mental Health facility. It is not clear yet how that man died. A wildfire broke out in lake county. Its grown to 450 acres and is about 20 contained. The elk fire is burning near elk Mountain Road north of the town of upper lake and is moving up the flank of youngs peak. Some homeowners are trying to protect their properties using lawn sprinklers on roofs and hosting down their dry grass. Guns drawn, the victim throws up his hands, looking like he is surrendering. Still he was shot and killed. Police say execution style. That interview included parts he wanted confidential. Its now part of an fbi affidavit. Contra costa county investigators are looking into the death of a man whose body was found in a burned shed. If the surface of the water is warm if the fish is deeper than they can dive down to 300 feet, if the fish are below that they cant access them. Some of the birds are so skinny they have to be force fed and once they get switched to whole fish those physical need to be injected with air to make them float and easier to eat.
