It started in a stack of speakers in the Music Festival in barcelona. Its on fire oh my god. Reporter if you look to the right of the screen you can see the speakers first spark and then torch as a crowd of 22,000 were dancing in barcelona. Theyre reporting the cause of the fire to be on stage fireworks. Organizers blame it on a technical malfunction. The tomorrowland unite festival was being streamed from belgium. All 22,000 people were evacuated from the park without injury, though several people were treated for anxiety. The event was supposed to run until 3 00 a. M. With headliner steve aoki, but has since been abandoned. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to knock down the flames, but they warned the stage could collapse. The whole stage is on fire oh my god oh my god. Now the official cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fans are already demanding a refund for the show ending early. Officers raided homes in the suburbs of sydney and made four arrests. The suspects are accused of taking part in a conspiracy using an improvised device to target an airplane. A deadly crash in involving a bicyclist and a light rail train. He was crossing the tracks when the man was hit. They dont know what caused the crash. The Train Service was delayed earlier, but its back running normally. New at 11 00, a lyft driver in the sacramento area says she was beaten for refusing a ride. First she told eight people they couldnt fit into the car, and then told our reporter they then started punching and kicking her. They all looked, you know what i mean, like they were having fun and a good time. Reporter mikayla hall was ending her night as a lyft driver. Lit did she know it would take a downward turn. Several people got in, and i said we cant do that. Reporter she can only fit a total of six passengers, but the group was eight young adults. They were like no, f that. Reporter she says she turned the car off and told the group shed call 911 if they didnt get out. Then the group got violent. They started pouring water on me. Reporter and they didnt stop there. And there were two men hitting me on one side, and two of the females came from this side and took turns kicking and punching me. Reporter the photos taken right after the incident show a gash on halls forehead, her clothes drenched from the water poured on her. She said the entire ordeal lasted about 15 minutes before she could drive away. All she says she could think of. My girls, not being able to see them again. Reporter lyft sent us a statement in response to the assault saying quote as soon as we were made aware of the incident we deactivated the passenger from the lyft platform and stand ready to insist Law Enforcement in the investigation. Hall says it was a wake up call, not just for her, but all lyft and uber drivers. Becoming complacent is her only regret. You need to be prepared, as prepared as you can be. Terrible story. Reporter they pulled him to shore, where a retired navy medic and er nurse immediately started cpr, which doctors say saved silvas life. I have no words. They gave me a second chance, and im glad. Im glad i met them. Theyre angels in my life. Reporter silvas mother was with him to thank the three men that saved his son. It would be tragic to have to look at her and say what we tried didnt work. The fact that hes standing upright and shes next to him, thats the best part of whe y.
