The Syrian Civil War is once again proving to be a complicated, ugly, fractured mess, one where of a former president drew a red line on chemical weapons and now the current president appears to be doing something similar. It crossed a lot of lines for me. When you kill innocent children, innocent babies, babies, little babies, with a chemical gas that is so lethal that people were shocked to hear what gas it was, that crosses many, many lines. Reporter the images are absolutely awful. A chemical weapon attack leaves 72 people dead including 20 children and 17 women. The president remains vague, but he seems to be moving away from his prior stance of not getting involved in syria. I do change and i am flexible and im proud of that flexibility and i will tell you that attack on children yesterday had a big impact on me. My attitude toward syria and assad has changed very much. A woman fell 60 feet off a bridge in Placer County and survived. Tonight reporter staph large tells us the woman went to steve large tells us the woman went to dangerous heights just to snap the perfect selfie. Reporter while this is certainly a beautiful bridge and it has a very big drop making this such a miraculous story, its also serving as a warning for people who trespass here. Dont do it. This almost became a killer view. Only a sacramento woman survived, a heart pounding 60 foot fall from the forest lillibridge where she was taking photos forestville bridge where she was taking photos as her friend watched helplessly. Tonight investigators say sunlight reflected off a television sparked a barn fire in santa rosa. Tomorrow in San Francisco the ceremonial popping off of the sales force forward. The skyscraper is reaching its peak and tonight were taking you to the top. Wilson walker with the story youll only see on kpix5. Reporter remember when they built one rincon and it felt like this tremendously Tall Building . Well, we are on the 60th floor of the new Sales Force Tower. One rincon is below us and if you step outer here, we can go outside of the 60th floor of the new Sales Force Tower. It kind of becomes a bit like sutro tower. The one thing no matter where you are in San Francisco, its pretty easy to see. This thing started down in the mud in the transbay terminal dig and now four years later weve got the second tallest building in the west coast. When ground was broken in 2013, it was a tower without a name, something that would rise out of the massive transbay terminal dig and reshape the skyline in a way we could only try to imagine through animations of the future. The Transbay Tower became the Sales Force Tower in 2015 thanks to the largest lease ever signed in San Francisco. At that point crews were still just working on the foundation. By2016 the building was actually pushing upwards, but that was about the same time another skyscraper was grabbing our attention. We knew it was sinking, but our inspectors couldnt figure it out. Reporter this tower is now impossible to ignore moving the skyline up to the south and decidedly away from the skyline weve known since about the early 80s. The Transamerica Pyramid now looks like this dainty little form on the far end of up to over by coit tower. Reporter so tomorrow it becomes official. This will be the tallest building in San Francisco. So how will the bay area warm up to this definitive new skyline . Well, that might take some time. On top of the Sales Force Tower wilson walker, kpix5. Well, a man who will go to great heights and lengths to bring us the forecast. Here i am.
