A new round of rain has a threat of more flooding. We begin tonight with the mudslide that crashed down near several homes in burnsville. It happened along santa rosa avenue. Already the pounding rain is making the worst flooding in more than a decade even worse and just above the town they are digging out from a massive mudslide. Up the hill above the river we found a huge slide covering santa rosa avenue. The road has become muddy waterfall. Some homes are red tagged deemed uninhabitable by the county. Its hard to tell on tv just how huge this mudslide is, think about a large slide at a water park, maybe 50 or 75 feet long from top to bottom. The mud is deep, with high on me, for the rest of the story we have to go around. Here on the other side, the road is impassable. The mud is very thick. No doubt this road will be compromised or some time. This area is sparsely populated with spaced out homes, how much damage is done .
