Police told kpix5s andria borba the attack appears to be completely random. Reporter the attack and beating near the corner of goth and washington takes less than a minute but is difficult to watch. It happened around 7 45 saturday night across the street from Lafayette Park and was captured on the surveillance cameras of 2006 washington, a posh condo building. The victim did not know the suspect and the attacker did not robber, just beat her. The suspect ran up to her, confronted her and attacked her and fled the area. Reporter the attack goes on seemingly forever with the suspect repeatedly punching the victim and at one point pinning her to the sidewalk with a knee to the back.
