Battlements family finally breathing a little bit easier tonight. The woman initially went missing this morning after getting into a car. Kpix 5s joe vasquez tells us what is new about the disappearance. Reporter she was last seen at 11 am walking here on divisadero with a friend. Her husband tells police when she got to divisadero and page she suddenly jumped into a car and the car took off. Nobody is sure who the driver was. The friend did not recognize the car. That part of the story is a mystery. Police quickly put out a notice asking the public to be on the lookout for lauren. We are considering her at risk because she is nine months pregnant. We want to make sure that the child and her are safe. This is a third trimester of her third pregnancy in 2 1 2 years. Reporter lately she has been feeling very overwhelmed. She has been spread thin. We are inducing in two days. Reporter her husband texted me to say she had been found and that she is safe. A family friend said she called her mom to come get her. The family has asked for privacy and does not want to talk about the details. One of the victims the latest east bay freeway shooting has died. The shooting happened thursday along i80 in richmond. The family of the man says he was shot three times. One of the bullets hit him in the back of his head. Doctors declared him braindead. Family made the decision to remove him from life support. The victims brother thinks it was a case of mistaken identity. People getting revenge on each other. That is not the case in this one. This is the innocent man shop for no reason. Elliott johnson and two juveniles have been arrested. The chp says there has been 80 freeway shootings in the bay area since 2015. About woman is recovering after being shot. It happened on elmer street just before 1 pm. The 911 call came from the victims living livein boyfriend. The boyfriend met the officers in the street and directed them to his girlfriend who was treated by paramedics. The boyfriend is being questioned but is not being called a suspect. A symbol of the states enduring drought, the reservoir would dip dangerously low to a mere 10 before beginning to fill this winter. It was amazing to see how for what is now.
