Youre looking live at chicago right here. Protesters have been marching for hours. Right now what were showing you is oregon. They are tying up traffic. Earlier, in chicago, they were is a portland. Lets go to the west coast. A massive gathering in seattle. You can see protesters shutting down streets, gathering by the thousands. We are taking you on a tour across most parts of the country. Like chris said, this is portland, oregon. Were showing this because this crowd has shut down several bridgeon california. Again, looking live at the protests in the bay area. This group of protesters, a little bit different from others across the country, shutting down an entire intersection and they just litmus fire. We have new video coming in from dallas, texas where people started marching about an hour spreading in texas, people in other cities started gathering, trying to make a statement. They are saying they are just not happy with the election outcome. In boston, protesters gathered outside the massachusetts statehouse. You can hear them chanting, carrying signs that say we will not be silenced. [ cheering and applause ] now to new orleans where protesters set fire to a fake trumped all. They are chanting not our president. Back home, in Downtown Phoenix there was a candlelit vigil to show solidarity and for people to show feelings and reactions to the election. In tempe, protesters taking to the streets sending a message to the new commander in chief that they dont want him in office. Amanda goodman was there with the latest. Their words not my president , and stronger together. They chose to voice their frustration but it was not just antitrump sentiment that we saw out here tonight. A small group also marched with time for the divisiveness to come to an end and first for everybody to come back together. We are just trying to get two Political Parties to unite, come together under one cause. Both hillary and obama said we need to come together. Make this a smooth transmission transition. And students from at least three phoenix high schools walked out of class today, walking to the state capital to protest donald trump winning the presidency. The students from central, maryvale, trevor brown, and more staged the protest. Many of the students say trump does not represent them. News in phoenix happening right now. Camelback road is now closed between 16th and 18th streets after a man was hit and killed by a car. Firefighters on the scene tell us that the driver didnt stop and is now staying on the scene to cooperate. Officers say Daniel Erickson opened fire on darrin reed yesterday outside a Fast Food Restaurant and then took off. He holed up in a cabin with a 15yearold girl for hours. This started at Oakland City Hall where this group, estimated by Oakland Police, in the neighborhood of 7000 people peacefully listening to speeches on the steps of Oakland City Hall before marching to the oakland federal minutes, set these fires, closed down broadway, and as you can see, Oakland Police have moved into clear the scene and they are probably trying to get the fire crews in their to get the fire out. We understand there are subsequent marches happening in san francisco, in the mission district. We are concentrating on what looks to be this now turning into a somewhat violent situation in oakland, california. Police are trying to break this up. You can see the emergency crews coming in. They are paid through the courts, period. Males typically do not have a violation code or contact information. Do not have your email address. If you ever were to see a citation, it will only come in the mail. Never click on a link in a strange email of any kind but you will never be notified of a photo radar to get through the mail.
