We had some moderate rain reported at the north bay. You can see the Development Just off the coast and that will sweep in here as we head into the overnight hours. Back up to the north bay we go. Just a few sprinkles, cloverdale as w weve been picking up a few light showers near watsonville as well as santa cruz. I want to fly you up to the north coast because thats where the leading edge of the cold front is. And it is going on slide south, bringing the entire bay area a chance of a few light showers overnight. Well look at the accuweather sevenday forecast and let you know how the rest of the Holiday Weekend will fare. A motorcyclist fell to his death in San Francisco early this morning after falling from his bike. The chronicle identifies his as 42yearold joshua. It happened just before 2 00 this morning on southbound 101 near 10th street. He plunged about 30 feet from an on ramp into a lot. No word yet of speed or alcohol. A growing list of stores is linked to a petaluma slaughterhouse. A pair of north bay Grocery Stores are not happy to be connected to that tainted meat. Our name is on that list. He is the meat manager. His store is just one identified statewide as having possibly received beef targeted in a meat recall. The usda said that they are recalling more than 8. 7 Million Pounds of beef products. Thats meat from more than 11,000 head of cattle. They have not said what they have found or what the employees did leaving him with very few answers for his customers. If they tell us, this is the whole issue. This is why we recall it. A shooting death in fairfield has homicide investigators hunting for suspects just after 4 00 this morning, Police Arrived in the 1,400 block of phoenix drive and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Hayward police are investigating the stabbing of one man and wounding of two others. It was behind Buffalo Bills brew pub and died at the scene. Officers determined the four men had gotten out of a car and began to fight. Police were then notified. Two people with stab wounds are being treated. Authorities believe the incidents are related but are still investigating. A game warden was shot in a compliance check. He suffered serious but nonlife threatening injuries. He was observing late last night in a remote area near georgetown when one of them opened fire. When wardens made contact with hunters, they will observe them for a certain period of time. It was during that time that a shot was fired. It was pretty complicated just to get help to him. Towed give almost stem by step directions on how to get through some of these dirt roads. The hunters ended up they know warden until help arrived. The investigators questioned them but did not detain them. Theyre trying to figure out if the shooting was accidental.
