Overnight a flash flood emergency in kansas city. The storm leaving roads impassable and creating lakes in parking lots. Nearly seven inches of rain forcing the city to shut down in some areas. The Rushing Water waist high, swallowing everything in its path. The floods reeking havoc on these cars on the street and in this creek taken over by Roaring Rapids and rising over ten feet in just one hour. This is downtown k. C. Right now. Hopefully most of the heavy stuff will stay across the immediate coastline and in through parts of southeast texas. In italy, a day of National Mourning as the first victims of that massive earthquake are laid to rest. Aftershocks are still jolting that part of the country where the quake struck this week. A federal judge has ruled in favor of two transgender students and an employee of the universities of North Carolina saying the school cannot block them from using bathrooms that match their gender selfidentity. In july 2014 markel was shot in the head just as he pulled into the garage of his tallahassee home. Two suspects have been arrested for his murder, but in Court Documents investigators say the pair were enlisted to commit the murder, even outlining a possible connection to the slain professors exwifes family. Saying the motive stemmed from the desperate desire of the adelson family to relocate wendi and the children to south florida, something markel was preventing through the courts. Well, and i was so scared that maybe someone did this, not because they hate danny but because they thought this was good somehow. I think their goal was obviously to have her in the police station, tell her what happened, let her react to that, and then see if they could potentially wear her down. Reporter adelson opening up to police about a conversation she had with her brother, florida dentist, dr. Charles adelson, about a broken tv set. My own grandmother died of an anaphylactic reaction. This is something that people need within seconds to minutes of starting that allergy. There might not be time. Consumer angle here.
