Eight people of course were killed and an entire neighborhood leveled in that explosion back in september 2010. Later this morning at 10 00, a federal judge in San Francisco is expected to issue the maximum 3 million fine to pg e for its role in the san bruno pipeline explosion. This is a pipeline blast that leveled the crestwood neighborhood in san bruno. Here we are more than six years later, there are still a couple of empty lots where people died and homes used to stand. Jurors convicted the utility of five felony safety violations that led to the september 9, 2010 blast that killed eight people and destroyed 38 homes. They were convicted of one felony count of obstructing the followup investigation. They want the utility to restructure the bonus pam for employe employees. The suspect is a white man in his mid30s he was approached by Santa Clara Meece in the parking lot of 24hour fitness this morning. Officers were going to take him into custody on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants when the suspect started his car is and took off, dragging the who had the suspect by the arm.
