Students at Novato High School returning to class the First Time Since last weeks offcampus shooting. 17yearold edwin jose Ramirez Guerra was killed and a second student shot and stabbed. Three suspects are in custody. Two of them are Novato High School students. Police are still looking for one more teenage suspect. Prosecutors have not decided what charges to file or whether two of the suspects will be charged as aresults or juveniles. We are looking into the search for two oakland teens who vanished after jumping off a boat. The 15yearold boys were on a family trip saturday. A group of seven jumped into the water, but two teens never resurfaced. The boys were not wearing life jackets. Two people needed to be rescued in two different locations. A 13yearold girl got caught in rough waves. That coupled with a riptide made for dangerous circumstances. Firefighters pulled her from the water about 3 20 yesterday. Less than an hour later they were called to the other side of the city. Another person needed rescuing. No immediate word on the conditions of the two victims. More people drawn to the water as temperatures creep up. That is what we are facing. We have beach hazard statement up now through about thursday evening due to conditions. This time it happened near alamo square over the weekend. Authorities are busy trying to track it down. How did a gun end up in the wrong hands . As you go to San Francisco, you always expect your car could get broken into. Particularly in a tourist area. That happened to that fbi agent yesterday. Not only was the gun stolen, but also that officers i. D. And credentials along with the fbi badge. That is out there in the universe right now. The fbi agent reported that breakin to San Francisco police afternoon sunday afternoon. San francisco pd not revealing details about this theft. We know from our previous reporting that this is a hot spot for car burglars. Nearly a year ago kate steinly was shot and killed with a stolen Law Enforcement gun. Some people cant believe after that high profile case and all the discussion that came with it, officers are still leaping their weapons in their cars. I cant believe someone is so stupid as leaving a gun in their car. Thats scary. Why are they leaving that in the car . Our Investigative Unit worked to find out how many weapons are missing or reported stolen from Law Enforcement. Since 2010, we found 500 weapons are taken from state and local agencies, 379 of those weaponing missing from bay area agencies alone. Consider there are several agencies here in the bay area that declined to release their data under our open records request. Some guns are military grade assault rifles. We reached out to the fbi here in San Francisco for comment about this theft and they have not responded to our request. It was a holiday so well give them more time. Witnesses spotted 26yearold garrett coriall driving erratically late thursday afternoon. Witnesses reported him drifting off the road or somehow going out of control. He hit someone in a dirt field. The force of the impact was so strong the victim lifted a couple of times in the air. The victim was last reported in stable condition. Police say someone stabbed a man yesterday in westfield lane in santa rosa. The victim suffered a stab wound in his upper torso. He told police three men wrestled him to the ground, stabbed him and took off. The penalty phase involving vehicular traffic in oakland. They convicted darnell in the shooting death of a teenager in 2013. Jurors are choosing between the Death Penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole. Authorities say three weeks ago he and another man tried to burglarize a los gatos home and they ended up shooting and killing one man who lived there. Two other victims were injured. The pair jumped into a get away car but crashed that car on highway 17 during a highspeed chase. The other 0 suspect died in the crash. Still no sign of missing vallejo teenager pearl pinson. Officials searched a remote area. The 15yearold was abducted in vallejo while on her way to school last wednesday. Witnesses saw her being dragged across a ped walkway.
