Will develop in the north bay and San Francisco as well as the peninsula and our temperatures are now in the mid40s to some mid50s. 70 degrees will be the high in the north bay. 64 degrees in San Francisco and 65 today in the peninsula. So, well take a look at more of this very comfortable weather. Thats coming up in just a few minutes. Lets head over to anthony to see how the roads are moving. Things moving pretty well. Not much to report, you can see you take a look at the map, lots of green. That denotes things moving without a problem. Still talk about overnight construction like we usually do around this time of morning. Head towards the bay bridge maze in oakland and coming down 580 and 680 through sunol and otherwise things moving pretty good this early morning. Back to you. Thank you very much, anthony. Now to that breaking news out of india where that overpass collapsed and at least 14 people were killed and 150 people are still trapped as we speak and rescuers are working to save them and pull them from the rubble. This happened in the city of kolkata. The overpass was under construction when that portion of it fell. Stay with us, we will continue to update this breaking story throughout the morning. We know we have a lot of connections to india here in the bay area. Back here in the bay area, more connection with this video of a man seen being beaten by sheriff. Confirmed that a third deputy is now accused of bribery. Hes on administrative leave. The deputy stole a necklace from the beating victim and then gave it to them in order to buy their silence. The department is also facing a civil lawsuit over this case. The Death Penalty is off the table for a trio of drifters accused of a deadly crime spree. Theyre suspected of two murders last october. A bay area therapist was shot while hiking in marin county and then a canadian tourist was found dead in golden gate park. They face the suspect of life in prison without parole. Right now expecting to get a better look at the bearder bandit. Kenneth ellis of stockton has confessed to robbing at least 11 banks across the state. He was arrested last week. Authorities say that he got away with 34,000. Happening today, the sun is not even up yet and people are already lining up at bay area tesla dealers. But now a new report revealing that a Controversial Technology shouldnt receive more funding because it pollutes too much. The Investigative Unit first reported concerns about electric fuel cells that run on natural gas. Critics say they werent cleaner than the traditional power grid and did not deserve public subsisubs subsidi subsidies. Theyre recommending that these fuel cells no longer receive funding. It makes no sense that we have been subsidizing fuel cells and other technologies that use natural gas. The point of this program was supposed to be to develop clean generation that customers can use. And weve had some mainly calm winds unit ilthe evening. The winds will pick up again today coming onoshore at 15, maybe 20 miles an hour just briefly and then tonight things calm down as we set the stage for more fog. We will have some clouds all throughout the morning. At 9 00 in oakland youll see the sun start to peek out and 55 degrees and more sunshine and highs reaching into the mid60s. Well see some mid60s to low 70s in a few spots. Like san mateo 63 degrees and 71 degrees in walnut creek and dublin today 71 degrees. We dial have the clouds and the fog with us, especially over the north bay, San Francisco and extending over towards the east bay. Into the afternoon, it all clears out. And well do it all over again tomorrow. But looks like by this time early tomorrow we wont see as much fog in the north bay. It will mainly be over San Francisco and farther to the south. Our storm track is about to shift. This nice, calm weather we had throughout the week may be changing as we go into next week. High pressure will be shifting off to the east and that will allow for a couple of very weak storm systems to move in. We can start to see some scattered showers on monday and into the rest of next week. So, enjoy this weekend. Were in for a lot of sun and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Meantime, the third american killed in the brussels terror attacks has been identified. Gale martinez of texas was traveling with her husband, an air force officer and their four children. The rest of the family is in the hospital. Its not clear if they were injured at the metro station or at the airport. Decision 2016. Trump backtracking after igniting a firestorm by saying if abortions were outlawed then women who undergo them should face punishment. The answer is that there has to be some form of punishment. What he said today is just among the most outrageous and dangerous statements that ive heard anybody running for president say in a really long time.
