Its threetimes more expensive if you go out. You can cook this, savannah. We are using my magic pot. You take about three pounds of brisket. And i trimmed all of the fat. Thats something theyre not going to do for you in the restaurant. Then, you take a dry rub. This is cumin and cayenne, Garlic Powder and salt and pepper. Then, were going to place it in the magic pot. You do the rub on both sides . Yes. It goes right in the pot. That brisket weighs more than you. Then, you put on Barbecue Sauce and worcestershire sauce. You will move it around, and set it on low eight to nine minutes. Eight to nine minutes . Eight to nine hours. Im going to taste that. Thats easy. I love that. Together with the sauteed kale, a restaurant version would cost you 1,000 calories. This version, 365 calories. Not bad, right . Really good. We have fried chicken. I want to show you simple, easy things to do at home. Its what we do in the run a. But the novice at home, really good for parties, hors doeuvres and appetizers. Its skewers. Were going to start out with a chicken one. Take chicken wings. I like to put it in a brian. A cup of water. How far ahead are you going this, michael . This is perfect to do 2 hours or 24 hours. And then, you put the salt in. This will give you flexibility when you cook it. Thats the thing about the skewers, you think theyre easy. But often, the meet is overcooked. This is a great trick. Things that dont have as much fat, put it in the brian. You want to do turkey as another thing. Put it in there. And when you cook it, its nice and easy. Were going to take some wings and were going to secure them up. Put it right through there. You soak the skewers. Thats important, why . Every time you put it on the grill, it burns. Every time you burn it. Its not fun. If you soak it in water, it keeps it from burning. We use bamboo skewers. One of the things you want to make sure youre not secukeweri all the way out. Scallops, youre going to take it, cut it in half. Take two skewers. If you dont have scallops, you can use shrimp or squid. If you make them flat. How does this taste . The chicken wings are awesome. You do it the long way. Another item at home, a steak. A fillet here. You want to cut it into cubes. If you just caught them in cubes. Then, do you season this up, as well . Yeah. Something like this, you need one skewer. All you do is put some salt on there, pepper on there. And we have it here. Keep it simple, salt and pepper. Exactly. It gets to the grill. And i put aluminum foil on the grill. It prevents everything from sticking, getting too hot and creating a mess. You dont get the flareup on the flame, right . Yes. Put the kebabs on there. You can put the fish on the grill, on the aluminum foil which i like. And the meat. The aluminum foil is going the prevent this from burning. You like the chicken on the foil, too . Yes. I like to show you what y yakaturi sauce. Which one do we like best . I like the scallops. Youre going to put a little marin, soy sauce and some sugar. You cook that for 15 minutes. Thats just the teriyaki sauce. And this is what its going to look like. We go back to the grill while theyre cooking, you give them business . Thats great. The resignation coming after reports that President Trump has now selected wall street financier and longtime as white house communication director. Sean spicer has become a household name and one day multiple white house officials now confirm to nbc news that spicer resigned from that position. Anthony scaramucci was offered a position and accepted a position someone who worked very closely with spicer. Spicer has expressed great reservations about the hiring of scaramucci and suggesting he wasnt prepared for a Communications Job that thats not where his past experience was. As we speak right now, the press has actually been ushered out of the upper area outside spicers office. I saw inside the room, there was a big allstaff meeting taking place as we speak right now, including Deputy Press Secretary inside, Sarah Huckabee sanders and the chief of staff reince priebus. Whats striking here is that scaramucci, the new communications director, has long clashed with reince priebus, the chief of staff. This is the latest in what is a series of chaotic episodes. This really the first major shakeup here, craig, within the white house now affecting the press secretary who is expected to depart almost effectively immediately. Peter, at this point any word on who becomes the new fulltime press secretary there . Its a good question and, as youll know, we havent had a oncamera White House Press briefing in a matter of weeks. This white house communication strategy has been different than the Communication Strategies of white houses before it right now. Depending on how your like your salmon . I like mine kind of rare. Im making some orzo. I do like orzo . While that cooks, you saute shallots and bell pepper. When that is cooked down i love when al does the spots because he does all of the work. We just eat. Amazing. Whatever vegetables you have in season. You mix that all together. And it comes over here. You finish it with lemon juice. Adding flavor with not a lot of fat. And mint. Love mint. If you like baby kale, dump that in there. Your greens, your protein and your carb.
