Its according to reports directed at some twitter employees and even its 38yearold founder. The apparent isis threat targets twitter founder jack dorsey, the message on an on line site to condemn twitter for closing isis related accounts. And nearly every state in the country saw snow of some kind this weekend. In massachusetts it was a close call for a youth hockey team when the roof collapsed during practice. No one was injured but its a scary reminder how much snow is so far in boston we have picked up 103. 9 inches of snow this season. All it will take is 3. 8 more inches for this to be the alltime snowiest winter ever on record for the city of boston. Where i am now this is actually the traditional route for the famous st. Patricks day parade. The route of the parade and even the parade itself is in jeopardy right now because theres so much snow that they dont have room for a parade. Good morning. Police say the man was shot after struggling to take an officers gun. Overnight multiple videos of the incident have been viewed millions of times on social media. We warn you while we wont show you the fatal gun shots the scene is disturbing. The videos posted on facebook sunday show a group of officers confronting a man they say is a robbery suspect. Hes taken down and several officers try to cuff him. As they wrestle you hear a taser. Someone yelled drop the gun, then at least five gun shots from three officers. Bystanders are stunned. During the attempt to detain him this individual resisted our officers, they struggled with him, they tried to tase him a couple times. That was ineffective. And eventually the struggle occurred where the officers were struggling over one of the weap the shooting sparking outrage on l. A. s skid row. Police have not released the suspects name, witnesses say he was homeless. He didnt bother nobody. He didnt have no weapon. They shot him. I think it was extreme. There was no reason to do the guy. Dennis horn took one of the videos did he reach for officers we you didnt see that . My eyes didnt see that. The lapd promise as thorough investigation around the country confrontations involving officers have become increasingly scrutinized in the wake of ferguson. And in this case there are still many unanswered questions. I think its unfair. Police say the suspect was not carrying his own firearm, at least one of the officers was wearing a body camera. He is seen flipping on to his back in a fetal position and struggling. The 22yearold who has epilepsy said he blacked out. My shoulders went back and i had a seizure and i dont remember anything. The skydive instructor who was wearing a camera and filming jones noticed something was wrong and tried grabbing ahold of him as the pair tumbled through the sky thousands of feet above the ground watching the video with a local reporter he said at first he couldnt reach jones. It was confusing when we wondered why is he stopping . He was able to pull the rip cord. I wanted to make sure his parachute was open. Jones regained consciousness about 3,000 feet before hitting the ground making a controlled landing. No ambulance had to be called. My thoughts when i regained consciousness were going through the steps. He had medical approval clearing him for the jump and had not suffered a seizure in more than four years. While he was halfway through the training to be a licensed jumper this will likely prevent him from making any jumps in the future. I was okay and im amazed at the reception its gotten. Amazing center and video. For anyone who wants to go skydiving, even if he were unable to pull the rip cord the fail safes were built in prepared to fire off a chute at a predetermined height. I ran into alan alda earlier and back in those days when i started out, unless you were really on mash you didnt really want to be on television. That was a remarkable show but for me i was a snob about it. I was on theater and movies. Now its thats where the writing is. Thats where the great parts are. Im thrilled to be a part of it. I will say it makes the competition really very, very hard because the bar is set really high. By the way, can you imagine starting in this business now with the i dont know the celebrity and the social media. How do you think you would have liked it . I dont think i would have been as comfortable with it. I was trying to when i was younger, i took myself so seriously and the idea of being sort of a personality was like the last thing in the world i wanted. I just wanted to be a serious actor. Now i think its a little different. You are going to have to in a funny way, you if want to be taken seriously, you have to be a personality and nurture that persona. Thats a pressure i am glad i didnt have. 2014 was the 30th anniversary of foot loose which was as far as im concerned released yesterday. You recreated this famous dancing on fallon. I assume that you were just practicing every year in case you had to do it again. Fallon had this amazing team that put this together. By the way, i pitched the idea thinking it was going to be a simple thing. They like to do bits and they sent me this elaborate break down of what was going to happen. I didnt actually have a copy of the movie. Really . I had to get it off netflix and sit there in my kitchen on the computer trying to remember the moves and we were shooting at the same time. Back to the bronx. You, your mom and sister and brother in a onebedroom apartment. And the dog. What are your fobbedest memories from that time . Fantastic memories and all crazy adventures. My brother building airplanes in this little apartment. Wood model airplanes. I built those. The smell of that glue was like intoxicating about you we didnt know it was intoxicating. I just thought it was great. You thought you loved the wood. I didnt know she had such a nice personality. You didnt grow up in the bronx . I grew up in manhattan and burr burr link theaters. These are quintessential american stories. Its extraordinary because from the specifics of that life in the bronx, you get the American Dream unfolding as all of this incredible perseverance and struggle and winning and making it and wanting to make something of ones self. Not everyone in the bronx was or is poor. There were always this kind of mix of economic levels. You have been married almost 58 years and you collaborate on this project. You did the voices and a lot of the male voices. After 58 years is collaboration a joy or is it fraught with peril. I think we know how to collaborate better than we ever did. We both write and each of us is the first person to see what the other writes. Just to give a reaction. You are doing great, that kind of thing. However, i have learned over the years i get very obsessed with ideas and its in my head so i come to alan with an idea that this idea its this and that. He looks at me with this blank stare and i dont blame him. Its all in my head. I learned over the years never talk about an idea. Dont throw out ideas. Its great to hang to each other. When you go back more than 58 years and how the two of you met, there is always one thing about a woman and i would imagine about a man for a woman that lets you know that you are captivated. What was it about arlene . I first saw her when she was playing the clarinet in somebodys apartment. I was really captivated by her. She could make music. Then we were invited to dinner a few weeks later and the hostess had a rum cake on the refrigerator cooling down. Refrigereors shook and it fell off and hit the floor. Arlene and i were the only two people who went in with spoons and ate it off the floor. If you eat rum cake off the floor together thats it for life. You made a roast and you have disgusting baked on drippings. You can scrub this for 20 minutes. Take a quarter cup of baking soda and dish detergent with warm water and let it soak overnight or about ten hours. Liquid or the other kind . I like the dishwasher detergent. Its not as sudsy. Dump it into the today show sink. It cuts the crease. You are skill going to do to do it but hello. Easy. I have more secret weapons outside. We are getting our exercise. We are. My fit bit is going crazy. These are uses for cleaning agents that are beyond what you think. Exactly. For instance toothpaste. It makes you have a whiter smile, but its good for nasty stains out of a coffee cup. Paste, not gel. Put it on a rag. A little bit damp. Wash. Its a mild abrasive. It comes right off. Like magic. Also to clean the faucet. You can use a tooth brush to get this off too. My secret weapon is stain fighter. It has a price tag on it and you cant get it off. It drives you nuts right . You take a cleaner. Stain remover and spray it on. We will wipe it clean. How long do you have to leave it on . Only a minute or two. It wipes clean. Where has this been all my life . How many hours have i spent . Another manicure saver. I dont have to get my hands dirty. Petroleum disilate is the secret ingredient. Lemonlime soda. We have sprite and 7up works. You make your flowers last longer. You crack open a can and pour about half. Try not to make a mess. Water and lemonlime soda. Imagine i poured half the helps the mold from forming and bacteria which is what makes the flowers wilt. The sugar makes the flowers last longer. At the lab they said drop a couple of pennies in the water and the copper prevents mold. How much longer will they last . Four or five days. Thats a good trick. One of my favorite products. The mr. Clean magic eraser. It is magical. What is it supposed to do . Its a dense foam that when you wet it it absorbs and you can use it as a mild abrasive. It takes crayons and marker off the wall. This is my godsend. You have to get it damp but you can use it to clean up a sneaker. Did you get it to do that . This is damp but you dampen it a little bit and look at this. Anything. Once your daughter starts drawing on walls, crayons and all of it comes right off. Great. Drier sheets. You have a lot of uses for these. They always have used drier sheets everywhere. They are great dust rags on fan blades and bookshelves. On these cold days a quick swipe in your hair and you wont get the flyaways and in your coat you wont have static cling. Secret weapons. For about 30 seconds, you see him curl up and he is unconscious. His skydive instructor propels himself down and turns himself into a bullet to catch up and pulls the rip cord on the chute and he regains consciousness. They didnt even have to call an ambulance. He said he did blackout and didnt remember anything about it. Started off as a regular jump. I got into the position and my shoulders went back and i had a seizure and i dont remember anything with the parachute. He has not had a seizure in four years and was medically cleared to make the jump. He was training to be a certified jumper. He doesnt want to put someone else in the position the jump master was in. You see the video. You go online and the naysayers say that couldnt be. Its kind of surprising. In the society that you watch video and its a true story. Yet people always question. Its amazing. You know what i found reassuring . When you jump like this if you havent pulled your chute, it automatically deploys. I dont know if thats always the case, but it was in this case.
