In iraq we have seen the Iraqi Security forces and Kurdish Forces continue to push back against isil. The critics you suggest i would imagine have us redeploy troops its not a struggle. Let me finish what im saying. It is possible for us to deploy 200 or 300,000 u. S. Troops. If we dont have inside of iraq or inside of syria or inside of afghanistan both the capacity and the will of people to fight for themselves, then any gains that are made will dissipate. It takes longer but its the right way. There not things you can be doing short of a huge presence of Ground Troops that would help this goal of what you say to defeat isis happen more quickly . Couldnt we do more . Anything we could be doing, we are doing. The criticism i hear a lot of you even from your political allies is you came into office and you were the president that was going to end the wars and that you are so focused on doing that and not getting the u. S. Entangled in another war that you are slow to react and passive. You repeated that comment three different ways and the truth of the matter is that we are doing exactly what we should be doing to make sure that while we are pushing back isil we are not creating another situation in which we deploy massive numbers of u. Do you feel there should be a requirement that parents get their kids vaccinated. Measles is preventable. I understand there families that in some cases are concerned about the effects of vaccinations. The science is pretty indisputable indisputable. We looked at this again and again. There is every reason to get vaccinated. There not reasons to not. You telling kids to get your kids vaccinated. Get your kids vaccinated. Its good for them and we should get to the point where measles is not existing in this country. 2016. On a scale of to 10 with 1 being happy and 10 being over the moon how happy are you not to be running . Not as happy as michelle. No reports of injuries but firefighters put out a fire earlier today at that same location. A former stanford swimmer accused of an on campus rape is scheduled to enter a plea today. Police last month arrested 19yearold brock turner. They say he attacked a drunk and unconscious woman outside a fraternity party. Police say two men riding on bicycles noticed what was happening and held turner down until officers arrived. Authorities say turner has admitted to groping the woman but claims he never raped her. San leandro city leader also vote on a plan to equip San Leandro Police with a stateoftheart vehicle. The state was awarded a grant from Homeland Security to buy a bearcat armored personnel carrier. Police say the car would streamline medical treatment of people in highrisk situations. Critics say the vehicle will increase the militarization of the police force. The irony is chilling and police are trying to find out how Bobbi Kristina brown ended up in a bath unresponsive similar to how her mother died almost three years ago to the day. We dont know if this was an accident or what happened. Im so, so happy. She recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with nick gordon, the couple seen here in an interview last year. I know we have a beautiful, beautiful future ahead of us. But the death of her mother, Whitney Houston affected her deeply. Houston was found dead in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel on february 11th, 2012. Now that she is not here, i am my mother. I am my mother and i am my mothers child. When First Responders arrived on saturday, they found her husband performing cpr. We are treating this investigation as a medical call. Her father, bobby brown is asking for privacy. Police allow my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time. You have aggressive, disruptive, even violent passengers over the last 20 years more than 4,000 of people have been removed by the faa. Hands down, hands up hands up reporter rarely does it come to this. July 25th, a s. W. A. T. Team storms an airliner in toronto after a passenger made threats in the air. More often its cussing, spitting, hearing or refusing to obey Flight Attendants. On average, the faa gets 150 air rage reports each year, but Flight Attendants insist they deal with rude and angry passengers almost daily. So our planes are fuller than they have ever been. Seats are closer together. There are fewer amenityies on board and fewer Flight Attendants to deescalate the problem. Reporter the Flight Attendants want big fines and while the faa can fine a passenger up to 25,000 for an offense, the faa often settles for far less. A drunk and violent passenger fined 15,000 paid nothing because of hardship. A passenger who pushed a Flight Attendant only paid 1,000. A disruptive passenger fined 5,000 settled for 200. In a statement the faa says that thor are me cushions for those who the repercussions can be substantial and acts as a deterrent. Normally i tell the lead Flight Attendant you need to inform them that they need to sit down and comply or we will divert. And we will press charges. Reporter but the planes themselves are part of the problem. The way youre sitting back there and the tightness and the confinement. Reporter air rage may simply by an effect of flying.
