Southern pennsylvania Transit Police were alerted thursday night that a woman was going into labor on a subway train and two onduty officers quickly jumped into action. I was praying for the medics to come and take over. It was happening so fast. The baby was already coming out and we did our training and what we should do. Reporter this Surveillance Video shows the officers with the couple during delivery. They were able to help with the birth and remove the umbilical cord wrapped around the babys neck. The mother wanted to hold the baby. The father offered the shirt off his back to warm the baby up. Reporter everyone was overjoyed to learn it was a healthy baby boy, especially his proud dad, posing with the two officers. There was excitement. Everyone was excited, happy, congratulating the police officer. Reporter onlookers were captivated, one witness capturing the video of the officers carefully carrying the newborn to the ambulance. It was wonderful. They cuddled the baby, rushed it into the ambulance. Very good. In terms of during the holiday, some stores usually have charge a restocking fee . Yes. Because people are buying a lot of technology, they tend to charge restocking fees 15 to 20 . Instead of buyer beware, buyer be careful. What youre going to do, you want to make sure youre getting the gift that people really want so they dont have to pay those restocking fee. All sales are final . Right. All sales of final. That means people give gifts, buy them on final sale. You cant go back to the store and return them. To be honest with you, i had a model who walked into my studio, a friend of a friend, very famous and beautiful plussized model. Ive never seen a plus sized model before. I never knew what they looked like. We had a very beautiful photo shoot with bare skin and it was very amazing. And i never had a picture that really touched me so much. We went to the press and i see all the social media response and so many girls who started writing me emails from all over the world saying how this made them feel beautiful as well. And i just thought it was so special. I never thought a job as superficial as photography can actually change somebodys life. And it just made me feel very special. Since then it just started taking more and more and more pictures of curvier women, women of all different shapes and sizes, ages, races. How is your goal going on kick starter right now . Its going good. Im hoping well be able to publish the book t means so much to me. It will be a project i would like to get going. Denise, youre here, considered a, quote, unquote, plussized model. When you hear victoria say that all those years as a fashion photographer and she didnt know or hadnt seen a plussized model, how does that make you feel . Well, i think that its very eye opening. Were at a point in the industry where everything is changing. I remember growing up thats part of what i love about my industry. I didnt realize there was plus sized modeling until i became one. Im not sixfeet tall. Im not a sized two. I never thought there would be an industry for me to fit into. Were all learning, pushing boundaries. As a mother its so important to change the perception of beauty sbchlt im so proud to be in the position to do that. Did you have role models or people who gave you the confidence to say, listen, theres a type of model were used to, but my body is also an image that women should see in fashion magazines . Absolutely. I feel like so many times i felt misrepresented in the media and my mom struggled with her weight growing up. Being a mol theres so much i stand for and believe in. I was told in my acting days if you lose 10, 15 pounds youll be perfect. I didnt want to change who i am to fit into it. Right now i feel all woman. I feel proud i didnt have to alter myself or feel bad about myself. Im proud of who i am and im glad i can show that to women that you can be curvy and absolutely flawless. From one woman, as someone who is considered plus size your work is breathtaking, seeing women feel as beautiful as they do, your photos inspire me more than you can imagine. Im going to get emotional now thinking about it, but going off of what you see when she was born and you try to project what her life is going to be like, what are her struggles going to be . What it does for us emotionally, dancing and performing in front of people and getting applause and it gives them a whole ne new sense of im doing something really great and something really special. One remarkable man from nebraska also survived and 50 years went by before he spoke at lengths about his experiences. In the spring of 1942, Clarence Graham from eastern rural nebraska was taken prisoner by Japanese Forces on the philippine island, thats him with a towel around his neck. Always that question in your mind, will i make it or wont i . Reporter clarence would spend the next 3 1 2 years in japanese prisoner of war camps wearing scant clothing, did he hard labor at a coal mine. How many hours were you in that coal mine every day . 12 in, 12 off. Reporter what did you have to eat . Rice. Very little. Not enough. We were not considered as human beings. Still full of life, living in oregon, surround by his family, his wife and his children. So these are just remarkable stories from these people who had an ability to survive against the worst possible circumstance. Its so beautiful. They are still with us to tell their story. Roast chicken. Whats different about it . Rub some soy sauce on the skin t seasons it. Let it sit in the refrigerator with no cover and the skin gets a little bit dry, causes for when we roast it to get crisp skin. Crunchy. Right. How long do you leave it in with the soy sauce . Two day. Really, uncovered . Uncovered. Do it just overnight. You can still make a great chicken. Little butter on there as well . Salt, butter, lemon. Fill the cavity with all that stuff . Thyme there. Garlic. Whole garlic in there, too. Tasty. Do you know what the purpose of that is . What . Everybody thinks its the flavor of the chicken. What is it . The chicken flavors that and that will make the jus. Instead of on a rack, i sit it on a rack of big pieces of onions, which will also flavor the jus. Well put water in the bottom of the pan to have a jus at the end. The onions will flavor the jus and well eat the onions as well. Cook it low and slow at 300 degrees, much lower than most people would think. It is. For about 45 minutes. Then we crank it up to 425. Crisp it up at end . Get it nice and chris zblp nice, nice. I made these on this show many times. We get so much response. We get really nice medium sized fresh farm carrots, olive oil, salt, fresh pepper. We really are keeping it simple here. These are basic thing that is you would have. After the prime rib i made yesterday, this is what you need, something simple and healthy. Turn this guy up to 425 the last 15 minutes or so, these get popped in the oven. Boil nice potatoes with a bay leaf and garlic cloves, salt. And i just smash them up. Put some muscle in it carson. Youve been cooking the last few days. Keep it going. Rough mash on this . Call it a smash. All right. Whats that, black olives . Why do you like olives with that, brianiness to it . Salt of the dish. Parsley not just for the look but the flavor. Could you put some salt in there for snus. Will do. This looks fantastic. How simple is this, right . Might be dinner tonight for me. A huge, like, flames just popping out. There were about ten of them up on our roof fighting from our house to protect the house. And we owe them everything for this christmas. We really are so grateful. In video posted on instagram, the flames leaped from the building on mississippi street. At least 100 firefighters and 12 engines responded as the fire tore through two duplexes. The cause of the fire is under investigation. More local news coming up in just a half hour. Happening now, a statewide search under way for this man, an escaped inmate. The 23 year old escaped from a minimum security, rather medium security rehab area of the jail by climbing on to a ventilation duct, punching through a window, and jumping through the roof. Im kris sanchez. It is 9 56 right now. Police in livermore say they caught a pair of Christmas Eve crooks red handed. Livermore Police Arrested two people from San Francisco with a car full of stolen packages from a number of east bay towns. Police first got phone calls about two people stealing packages on Christmas Eve, then later that day, a man and woman were seen hiding in bushes in the same area. Police recognized one from Surveillance Video and took them into custody. Officers say the couples car was full of stolen packages. It was a tense christmas for this sailor, who had to be rescued from his nearly flooded boat off the monterey coast. The coast guard got a distress call early Christmas Morning around 75 miles southwest of monterey. Crews lost the signal, but were able to locate the sailboat. A helicopter lifted the man from the boat as it was taking on water. He was the only person onboard. The coast guard did not say whether he was hurt.
