Born yesterday, august 13th. That means she had one day off. She was here monday, went to the doctor tuesday, and the baby came yesterday. 8 pounds, 5 ounces, 19 1 2 inches long. Heres how savannah describes this cute little baby. Has blue eyes, a little bit of blondish hair, and the chubbiest cheeks youve ever seen. She says they are overcome with happiness, gratitude and joy. We are practically levitating in excitement. Look at her beaming. I think we found heaven in this little hospital in new york city. We were watching it in the makeup room when it came on at 7 00 and literally everybody was tearing up. One those moments where youre just so, so happy. Im sorry, but it looks like mary and laura went over there and touched her up a little bit. You dont look that good. The thing is when you wait so long, when youre nine months pregnant and youve had this child in you that youre unbelievably linked to in so many cosmic ways. But you dont really know them yet. You cant know what they look very different from a sonogram. That baby looks beautiful. Beautiful. I think the baby looks like savannah. And thats my call from right here. I said she was going to have a girl. I wasnt sure, but i must have said boy since you said girl. Savannah has competition in the new baby world. Yes, she does. Because you know what . What . Another mother had 18 children. All at once. In one birth. It happened in mississippi. This is unbelievable. You never expect anything like this to happen, but it happened to someone named kimber. Holly springs, mississippi. What is kimber . Shes mother of the year is what she is. But what is she exactly . All right. Shes an english mastiff. The vet told the opener she had never be able to get pregnant. But she did. They expected 10 but she had 18, so they had to do a csection. An machine one, i wasnt the only one. All the puppies are being fed with little bottles because the mom is healing. Oh my gosh so cute. You run out of names. Heres the thing thats so unbelievable. Who knows how big savannahs baby is going to grow up to be. Hopefully 57, 120 pounds. Every one of these puppies is going to grow up to be 150 pounds each. Can you imagine . 18 of them at 150 pounds. Put them up for adoption. Of course, of course. Were on a theme here. Simon cowell and his son, weve talked about this. Theyre twins. The picture posted. Look at them. They love to go shirtless. Lets be honest. So does little eric. Thats adorable. Anyway, this is the caption was twinsies which is very obviously why. He said the whats her name . I forget. Lauren silverman, the mother of his child, she said he was born to be a dad. At that age, we were talking about it earlier, when you have a child later in life, so much of your questions about yourself and youre trying to find your path and your esteem and all of that, its all settled. You know . Right. The questions are answered right then and there. And then the baby comes along and absolutely just absolutely takes the rug out from underneath you. And it should. Were happy for everybody its been a big baby day. And it was also a big day at your house. There was a moment unbelievable. Frank and cody and i were just getting ready to sit down and watch the giver. I had the dvd and i wanted to give it back today. Havent had a chance to get to it. And i went out to let the puppies out and i literally gasped to the point that my husband and son came running out. And cody then took this picture of what we saw. Look at that. That was a double rainbow. And that doesnt even show the colors. We had a sudden thunderstorm. We thought all the rain was gone. Thunderstorm comes up. In 20 years of living there, never seen ive never seen one that went all the way. Usually just part of one. The mountain or whatever. I know. I just wanted to share that with everybody. We had a couple of miracles everybody. A little baby and that rainbow. Look what happened to me. I was running in the park, la la la. Running with visual. I like to show it. And this old guy stopped me. While i was running. Crack of dawn. He goes, stop for a second, i want to tell you something. Ohoh. He said, have you ever heard of Itzhak Perlman . The violinist. I said sure. He said, im going to tell you a little story. Itzhak perlman got onstage to perform, Lincoln Center or something, he was getting ready to perform and just as he started one of his strings popped. He had three strings left. He said everyone was looking around, the place got quiet, they were trying to figure out if someone should bring him a violin a bow. One of the strings from the violin . Wow. He cued the conductor to play. And the conductor and the rest of them kept going. He played his heart out. When it was over it was silent. The whole place erupted in applause. He stopped and he said, sometimes you have to play with what you have. Wasnt that a great lesson in a stranger in the park. I looked at that guy and i thought, sometimes you have the hand that youre dealt and youve got to do the best you can with it. Yeah, what was his point . You. His point was, it was a life lesson that i needed to hear at that moment. He knew it and i knew it. Youre playing with what youve got now. No, but it could have been maybe words of wisdom i was thinking about somebody else and i thought to myself, thats exactly lay needed to hear. Sometimes at the right time someone says the right thing. Youve got what you need for the moment, hoda woman. Be the person that you want to be with. I hate when she keeps repeating that. What we did, we had a before and after. Do we have the picture of before . He had nice long hair. We cut it short. Gave him sort of a conservative look. Did you like it . But he wants to spike it. So what we do is take a little gel. You want to make sure that you get it in from the bottom. Kids love this. That looks cool. And you dont need to use the gel in the back.
