The Football Team is getting ready for the first game in two weeks but during the preparation, the Oakland Unified School district says School Leaders including coaches expressed concern about the water so the Environmental Health and safety manager conduct ted tests and found unse levels of lead in a football field water fountain, faucets and showers in the boys and girls locker rooms. Jared butler has been associated with the Athletic Department for years and says people are worried about what they have heard. The school has been here, what, since the 50s and if no one takes the time, you know, to, you know, do the repairs or do some type of filtration with the water, you know, its not going to make it any better or any safer for the kids. Reporter raj, this community hasnt had a homicide in almost a decade but yesterday afternoon along this dirt road that leads to a sand quarry, workers made a discovery. In trespassing signs outside a byron sand quarry didnt keep a killer from dumping a body. Workers discovered a San Franciscos womans body dumped off the side of a dirt road as they wrapped up operations yesterday afternoon. Our deputy sheriffs went out on scene and found a deceased adult female. It was deemed to be a homicide. Reporter the quarrys general manager calls it highly disturbing. He said the womans body was found next to debris including a tarp or carpet that appeared to be dumped along with her. He wouldnt talk on camera but told us our condolences to the family. We were all very upset by the discovery. An autopsy was done today but so far, investigators arent releasing the cause of death or the victims identity. The victim is adult female in her 40s.
