It happened in the city south of market neighborhood. When according to police a father walked the short distance from his car leaving his daughter inside that car. Police say a woman walked by, grabbed that little girl out of the car, jumped on a bus with the child. Working with muny police were able to locate the woman and child in the area of bay shore boulevard. Suspect was taken into custody. The girl was reunited with her parents. The child was not hurt. Taken to a hospital as a precaution. Were learning more about a car crash in brend woot that landed nine people in the hospital last niem. The crash was a headon collision between a driver in a stolen car going the wrong way and a van with seven people inside including three children. The crash happened on westbound highway 4 near san creek roads about 8 00. Helicopters had to come in to transport some of those victims. The man suspected of driving the stolen car was treated for minor injuries and arrested on several felony charges. Two people in the van remain in the hospital. Someone shot a woman in san jose and then took off. Police are trying to find that suspect. It happened last night at the corner of payne and eden avenues. Thats where we find marianne favro. Reporter were glad to tell you that that woman is going to be all right. Police are not revealing many details about the shooting. What we do know it happened just before midnight in front of this apartment complex you see here behind me. Police say someone shot a woman. She was taken to a nearby hospital where shes being treated for nonlifethreatening injuries. Heres how one neighbor described what she saw and heard last night. We heard around six gunshots and when we came out we saw the cops and the streets were closed. More than a dozen people are out of their homes following a fire last night in the east bay. It happened about 11 00. Crews responding to a threealarm fire at a home in bay point. The flames jumped from one house to another before crews could knock those flames down. Took firefighters roughly an hour to put that fire out. The wind and high tides being blamed for a boating accident on the bay last night. Two men and a boy were rescued after their 12 foot boat cap sized. Firefighters worked to find the three victims. They were spotted hanging on to a kayak. All three were airlifted to safety. Two of the victims were treated for hype owe thermia.
