He knows what hes doing and how to aggravate what he sees as the far left. There were questions raised about the fees for security to cover the event. That will run about 6,000 but University Spokesperson said really its calculated using a standard formula and it be would be a similar thing if Bernie Sanders were to speak here and it has nothing to do with content. San Francisco Police released this photo of the suspect. They say that this man captured on video slashed a passenger at the civic center station last friday night. The victim suffered serious cuts to his head and hand. The suspect fled after the attack. Investigators say hes a 29yearold from california. An amber alert for a boy believed to have been in kidnapping. The boy found who heard the alert and took action. The alert went into effect about noon today. The boy was last seen yesterday afternoon in a blue minivan with the family friend. She came back out the vans gone so was the boy. An hour after the amber alert went out. A bystander spotted the van in oakland. Called 911, found the boy and the woman and reunited the boy. Just an excellent example of how this system is effective and works and can bring these situations to a peaceful resolution very rapidly when all the pieces are put together. Its a not clear if that family friend is going to be charged with a crime. And the inauguration is now six days away but already demonstrators are hitting the street protesting the president ial transition. Protesters rallied today in san jose over president elect donald trump its immigration policies. Laura, there are concerns after that antitrump rally last year turned violent . Reporter thats right. Thankfully there were no problems out here today. People wanted to stay focused on the message rather than be distracted by violence. Chanting in unity and carrying signs reading resist trumps hate and we are here to stay, hundreds gathered in front of city hall in downtown san jose rallying for immigrants and refugees rights. Were anticipating that the Trump Administration is threatening a lot of very scary things in terms of mass deportations and possibly registering muslims and we think thats all contrary to the common good. Were taking a stand against those messages that are demeaning, degrading and were doing a fierce bold stance and well continue to do that moving forward on any legislation or messages that he puts that are anti. Participants determined to remain peacefulful unlike an antitrump rally here last summer that made National Headlines after fights broke out and blood was shed. This is not about that. This is a peaceful demonstration of unity, of coming together and showing that were one people, one earth and were one society trying to make a better world and thats what we stand for. Reporter San Jose Police remained on high alert carefully following the march and protecting protesters along the way. Their final stop plaza for entertainment organizers and participants standing strong by their message. I realize that im like one of the only people who came that use this White Privilege and help immigrants and some of the threats against us, like, muslim registries are just unacceptable in america. They were rescued from outside of the cliff house in San Francisco after they tried to go skinny dipping in the ocean. It happened early this morning. One man was stranded on the cliff. His friend stuck in the water. This is treacherous water to say the least and the cliff base accounts for many rescues over the years and its not a place for anyone should be attending at night let alone during the day. That firefighter didnt think it was such a great idea. None of them did. The ocean waters about 50 degrees, both men were pulled to safety.
