San franciscos Cherry Blossom festival is wrapping up tonight. This was the second weekend of the festival celebrating japanese culture. The big event with the grandpa raid starting at city hall, ending in where else, japan town. More than 200,000 people take part in the Cherry Blossom festival. This year those two gentlemen right there passing by, robert handa and mike inway, part of the event. They make us proud. Next year the festival turns 50 years of age. Amazing. Also making us proud are our sports team. Fallon, if youre a baseball fan, hockey fan or basketball fan, youre good here. All the teams going strong, of course. But the big news, steph curries status for game two. The dubs have beat houston without him before. Coming up, well detail what the warriors plan to do if the mvp cant go. Thats next in sports. Look at that pie chart boom youve never seen a number like that you feel me lois . Im feeling you. Yeah you do lets do this watch out he just had a whole thimble full of coffee. Woot woot the ready for you alert, only at laquinta. Com. La. Quinta yeah blew out the rockets in game one. And the dubs may have to find a way to win game 2 without him. Steph curry only played 20 minutes yesterday and the warriors still blew out the rockets. The dubs may have to find a way to win without him in game two. The reigning mchlts vp did not practice today and still listed as questionable for mondays game too. But, curry is optimistic about playing tomorrow. He told monte poole that the tweak is not as severe as the one he sustained to his left ankle in okc back in february. We were at the practice facility today and has more. Even with steph curry sitting out of practice to treat his ankle, the warriors seem poised. Theyve defeated the rockets without him in the past. This kind of changes things. We dont seem to be as good of a Coaching Staff when steph goes out. I dont know why. Weve got a lot of guys who can play. I think steph missed three or four games this year. You know, we did fine. Obviously, weve got to find different ways to score. But well prepare for that and see what happens. We obviously lose our goto guy and the mvp. Taking the mvp out of a lineup, there will be tweaks and changes to be made. Thankfully, weve done it before against houston and we played against houston without steph and we played pretty well. We know were capable of doing it. He was listed as questionable at practice and steve kerr said Shawn Livingston will likely get the start. Nothing seems to faze him. Hes incredibly poised and mature. Shaun has had solid games against houston. He has a good feel for them. He throws them off a little bit because hes so different from steph. Hes such a big guard. Hes able to get on the block and shoot over the smaller guys. You know, hes a little shorter and stroenger. He can shoot over as well. They have to adjust their game a little bit from so much of their attention and focus being on steph. The warriors mantra is strength in numbers. They have a few alternatives at the point guard position including Andre Iguodala who said hes prepared to minutes at the one and at practice played a lot at the point guard position with the second unit and Shaun Livingston with the first. The good news, both guys are veterans and been in this situation before. At the warriors practice facility. Im ross gould on wud. Looking for a win over the royals. Morales hits the high fly ball.
