This storm system is going to produce the most rain that we have seen in 2013 across the bay area producing about a half an inch and three quarters of an inch in some locations. The cold air associated with it will drive temperatures back into the 40s and 50s. If you have been suffering from allergies those allerergens will come down as we head towards the upcoming week. Monday will be a dry day. Tuesday you will notice showers first in the north bay and into the peninsula. Right around rush hour tuesday evening the showers will begin. They will be with us tuesday night through wednesday with intervals of showers and even embedded thunderstorms. And then we dry out as we head towards thursday. This is what our computer model is putting an estimate on. Maybe about a half an inch in the south bay. You get to the east bay. Even up into the north bay we will see the most amount of rain.
