Right now we see temperatures trending downward but here is where the big change happened in places like walnut creek this hour yesterday were near 100 and 75 outside right now and you can see that most places are as much as 20 to 25 degrees cooler from eastern Contra Costa County to Solano County so breezes bringing those temperatures down to 70s and 80s inland but as quickly as a cool down inland, we are about to go back up tomorrow and we will see 90s returning for the inland valley and slight cooling as we approach the middle part of the week and watching closely the chance of some monsoonal thunderstorms returning to the sierra and we will keep an eye on if any of that moisture later in the sevenday forecast and that will be coming up in about 10 minutes. An update on the fire in north county and we told you it last night on the 11 00 news and it started around 7 00 last night at clear lake and it stopped growing at about 15 acres thanks to a Quick Response from cal fire and all orders are now listed for evacuation and the fire is already 80 contained. Good work. The aircrew is really on it. Nice response. It was in an area that is waiting to burn. The wind really was not too strong and the temperatures are really warm and dry and similar here you can see the fire conditions near what is left of the point fire. We still see numbers in the 90s there and this is off to the southwest of clear lake across the water and you see humidity at 23 and the wind up to 17 and aircrews arriving within the first hour really help to prevent that from becoming a larger event but also an illustration that further away from the bay area in lake county still a day spent in the 90s. No 90s for the most part around the bay area except if you go higher up into the hilltop near saw south san jose but nobody near 100 like yesterday. 60s from San Francisco to oakland and 80s right now in fairfield and livermore and you see the wind at 26 Miles Per Hour in fairfield and we sometimes refer to that as the delta breeze moving in from sacramento. Right now it is 81 and san jose which is the warm spot between san jose and San Francisco and this here is about 20 degrees cooler than the same time yesterday and the low clouds are surging over San Francisco and that means that there is a hint about the forecast in the morning so there may be some misty skies in the morning. If you are in the inland east bay, you may notice some hazy skies with temperatures climbing up tomorrow. So a lot of low clouds across the bay up and down the Santa Clara Valley and during the day we will see the clouds retreating back to the coast and some clearing during the afternoon. The temperatures are about to move in the opposite direction again as quickly as things cooled off. It will be warming up again tomorrow. 50s for the morning temperatures and the daytime around lunchtime we will see numbers in the 70s and 80s. But notice what happens out toward fairfield again. It is back up to 98 tomorrow and mid90s here around concord and livermore so the cooler air brings more during the day tomorrow and it will lead to those temperatures climbing up. And then tuesday it will cool slightly in the inland valleys and we should see that trend through wednesday. Now that we are back in the upper 80s inland, were back to closer to the seasonal averages. There will be some high clouds that times but not humidity and we will watch some more coastal fog toward thursday. So if you do have travel plans around the sierra, a few upper level systems will pass by from time to time and not bringing any showers to the bay area but you can see we may see a few of those thunderstorms, especially for areas around yosemite later this week but a lot of low clouds on the coast which is a good sign to keep the temperatures and check and maybe not so good for the sunshine around San Francisco but inland will stay comfortable the second half of the week. Temperatures will see med 70s and the warmest day of the week will also be inland valleys tomorrow and then closer to seasonal averages headed towards the weekend. I dont inc. We will see any heat advisories in the sevenday forecast but things will be warming tomorrow and cooling by the end of the week. This morning i wouldnt call it a drizzle storm and you said there was some drizzle. Hairspray rain. It qualifies.
