They said this is the largest mud slide hes ever seen in the county. People still have a way to get out. About 15 miles north, drivers were around a major thorough fare after a huge tree smashed into a power line. Theyll to have wait for hours to get into his house while he waits for pg e crews to clear the area. He kept a close eye on the napa river that overflowed its banks. You can see the mud and trees on the lodi bridge where water had rushed over the road. And back in napa, crews continue to monitor this saturated hills just west of town. Pg e crews have cut the power to the area. Unfortunately, the ground is too uncertain so crews cannot move in here to start clearing out the area. There are about 500 homes on the other side of this mud slide. They do have another way out but it will add about 15 minutes to the commute. It could take more than a week to clear this out.
