He was believed to be on the plane with his mom, dad and his wife. Rashad doesnt want to speculate about what caused the plane to go down, but she says this. The two guns used in the deadly shooting belonged to the neighbor of the shooters. A bill approved today would limit the lending of firearms to immediate family members. Police chief greg suhr has been forced out late this afternoon. He had a closeddoor meeting with San Francisco mayor ed lee. Mayor lee then made the announcement about 30 minutes ago. Thats why ive asked chief suhr for his resignation. And in the best interest of the city that he loves so much he tendered his resignation early today despite the political rhetoric of the past few weeks i have nothing, but profound admiration for greg. The announcement from mayor lee as he was saying he asked for the resignation of former police chief greg suhr and the police chief then did resign. It comes to an end for him, more than 30 years born and raised in San Francisco and now hes been asked to resign and he did. Tonight, there is a renewed push for justice in one of the bay areas most bizarre kidnapping case. One that police in vallejo at first deemed a hoax. Its been now more than a year than eric corn an and Denise Haskins were in their own home. Where the couples alleged attacker still hasnt been charged with any of the crimes connected with this particular case. Tonight the attorney for one of the victims is demanding to know why. He was tied up. He was falsely confined. Reporter aaron quinns attorney said his client and his clients girlfriend are still haunted by the crimes they suffered at the hands of alleged kidnapper matthew muller. Theyre completely mueller victimized quinn and his girlfriend Denise Haskins in their vallejo home in march of last year, has been indicted by the u. S. Attorney on kidnapping charges, but so far neither the feds nor the state have charged him with rape or any crimes related to aaron quinn. Thats insane. The system that that should be in place to protect them and guard their interests dont seem to be doing a very good job. Reporter Attorney Daniel rito he and his partner sent a letter to Solano County districts attorney urging her to charge mueller and pursue a life sentence. It only recently came to my attention that the charges did not include all charges for both victims. Were tracking this to the north and once this drops to the south over the next 24 hours that will increase the possibility of getting a few drops and right now the big difference is the much colder air, 70 in the south bay and 66 in the east bay and 60 and the north bay at 63 and tomorrows forecast will offer clouds coming on back. The best chance of showers in the south bay to start at 52 degrees. Its about this area of low pressure hanging out for friday and also on saturday. For tomorrow, producing some scattered shower chances in the morning down toward the south bay and by the afternoon its a better chance by napa and sonoma and the better chance of getting rainfall will arrive saturday morning with scattered rain and maybe some isolated thunderstorms that could last into the afternoon. Overall totals, looking at trace amounts to maybe a tenth of an inch. Again, best chance would arrive on saturday. Otherwise as we head into the microclimate forecast. That will put us at 69 for the south bay for the peninsula and 66 in palo alto and San Francisco, upper 50s and low 60s and for the east bay and the trivalley. Temperatures down and way down for the trivalley, instead of low 90s like you had the past couple of days and were going down to 67 tomorrow in pleasanton and through this weekend forecast, we keep with 60s also on saturday and sunday. North bay, 64 on saturday and sunday, 67 and watch out if youre heading to the sierra, a word of warning. We could get two to five inches of snow friday and saturday.
