He is the nicest brother i think that anyone could have. Tyler never had to adjust to a life of a brother with autism he was born into that world. As tyler grew and developed a passion and talent for baseball he felt something missing. That was connor. He gets too easily overstimulated by the environment. So tyler decided if baseball wasnt right for his brother, than it not he had to adapt. Which is how tyler, at the age of 11 started his own baseball league. One tailored for children with special needs. I wanted to give connor and other children with special needs that same sense of community and a less noisy overstimulating environment. When did you get so strong . Six years later, tylers league is still going strong. Each week tyler pairs his friends with players. They are guided in the field and at the plate. The children learning baseball tylers buddies learning even more. The lesson is that when you are patient, and you, you know work with them you will see they have so much more than you think. As for connor he is no longer a player in the league but a semiofficial photographer. Capturing images of maybe not the best hitting and fielding but of a level of compassion in a league of its own. It has been so successful that the league has even now added five different sports. He extended not just baseball five different sports almost year round, helping more than 100 kids. That is so inspiration. True brotherly love. Started by a 11yearold. And connor is taking pictures all year round. Baseball was not for him, but photography is his bag now.
