Our guest elevation with the center for investigative reporting revealed that some of these consulting firms are not playing by the rules and take advantage of these highly educated workers, most of whom come from india. Those companies that take advantage of these workers are often called body shops. And when they break the rules it leaves these highly educated employees without work, little money, trapped in their pursuit of the american dream. Most of these people have also paid substantial fees, illegally, to cover the cost of the h1b visa application to the United States. They didnt have jobs lined up for any of their employees. Certainly nothing at the levels that they had promised them. Essentially they dumped them into the guest house.
